I haven’t had a Chinese takeaway for over a year and I had a real craving for one whilst in Kendal. This place did not disappoint. Friendly and helpful staff, ready to collect in 10 minutes and really tasty food! The veggie section on the menu was varied and the portions were a good size and reasonably priced. Thanks guys!

We're caravanning in the area and were worried about this takeaway having lower scored ratings than its competitors, but it was a Monday evening. Some were closed, others were open but didn't deliver...we wanted a delivery. So we ordered and braced ourselves for disappointment. How wrong we were. What we received was delicious, well priced and a reminder that online reviews aren't always reflective of the reality! Strongly recommend rhe King Po Chicken.

We used to eat here a few times every year and it was always very good.But we have not eaten here for a couple of years as the food hygiene rating became unacceptable for a while.(Not sure what that was about as we never had any problems with cleanliness or hygiene.)But previously the vegetarian options (in other words, the bean curd) were consistently really great.Now that the food hygiene rating has improved we will have to go back again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS it is advertised as being open to eat in. Got a taxi here as it was raining(very heavy)and when we walked in we were told it was take out only. I think they should update their business on Google accordingly to let customers know. Not good business management at all.

Food later than told, over 2hrs wait for delivery after being told will be no longer than 1hr45. This is not the first time will not be going back here and will be using other Chinese. Called up to see where we were with getting food and told it was on its way no longer than 10mins.this use to be a good Chinese and delivery use to be on time or early gone down hill.

Food delivery took ages 1hr 15mins food cold had to reheat everything chips soggy. Will not be using again. Used to be really good.

Been enjoying takeaways over the last few months did find in the past quality a bit hit and miss but has really improved to a consistent good standard
