It only takes around 20 minutes to stroll from one end of Oxford High Street to the other. It's well worth it. In between the retail and independent shops there are several of the university buildings, with incredible architecture.This main street is home to a number of the university colleges and the architecture of their historic buildings is just stunning. There are also important public buildings and other university institutions dotted along the street. The street is also home to a host of specialty shops, souvenir stores, cafes, restaurants and pubs.High Street is the busiest and most significant thoroughfare in Oxford. It is a “must-visit” street for any tourist spending time in Oxford!

Nice and historic place worth going

Oxford High Street is lovely with lots of shops and restaurants. There are lots of historical buildings and there are also some university colleges in this street.I also had a great lunch at the Rose cafe.
