Brilliant food and great portions for a surprisingly cheap price! ( We had the 12 pound box meal ) If you find yourself passing this place then definitely do not miss out on the opportunity to try some real Texas food. Such a warm welcome from the lovely owner and even a free piece of cheesecake since we were the first customers of the day.

What an unexpected and fabulous treat. Came across it by accident, stopped and got chatting to Tonya, and heard her back story. Got a large Texas Nachos and BBQ pulled pork sandwich (Not both for me btw) The best bbq I have even eaten, honestly stunning. If you are even remotely close to this place, it is a must try!

Brilliant and tasty American BBQ takeaway food cooked by the lovely Tonya. Felt like we took a detour and ended up on route 66! Kids & big kid all said it was the best burger & hot dogs they ever had, so our day was made ✨Thanks Tonya and see you again soon!

I must say being from Texas this was authentic as back home. Mrs. Tanya is no stranger to the pit. The seasonings and meat were beautifully blended together. Then cooked to perfection. The sides were award winning. Her attention to detail of what makes it BBQ is top notch. Each bite is filled with labor and love. If you are driving and happen to be near. Do not hesitate to pull in. A true Texan is behind the window offering up southern hospitality and comfort. I’d also recommend ordering the Texas Twister but you can’t go wrong with any on the menu.

I’d give this 10 stars if I could. We happened upon it and so happy we stopped. Tanya brought my friend into the kitchen to taste pork while Bill brought me out back to show me the smoker and explain how he built the restaurant and why. We talked about Scottish culture and he brought out a couple of swords to show me and even showed me how to properly use them. The food was delicious also, Tanya being from Louisiana sure knows her BBQ, BBQ chicken and cheeseburger was our lunch and it could not have been better. What a great experience, if you get the chance, IMO it’s a must stop.

Thanks Tanya and Bill, and congratulations on your new business! I had the double dog with chili, pickles, onions and mustard, and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth stopping here if you're in the area and fancy some good, flavorful food! I'll be back, that's for sure.
