Pontyclun Van Hire

Easy and cost effective. Van was clean. You'll need driving license and proof of address. You can also leave your car in their car park during hire.

Hired a long wheelbase van for a day to move. Relatively cheap. They don't charge for milage which was good because we had to go to West Wales and back. Staff are friendly and helpful. They are also open overnight - we dropped the van back around 11.00 at night. They have a decent range of vehicles too.

FANTASTIC SERVICE (again) from the staff at Pontyclun Van Hire. They are very helpful, provide excellent customer service and have very reasonable prices, the vehicles are clean and well maintained.I would highly recommend this company

I would never use this company again, after going without a utility bill,the receptionist was going through my phone and bank account ,in the end I told her to cancel van and went to enterprise van hire who even collect your from house if you request for no extra charge of just £34 and all you need is your credit card and driving license and are not made to feel as though your not to be trusted as Pontyclun van hire made me feel!

the van I hired was not very clean,a rather unpleasant smell,also on returning the van I checked the fuel level to be roughly the same as when picked up,I received a phone call from Pontyclun van hire stating that I needed to pay an extra £15-00 pounds for the fuel shortfall ,bearing in mind the fuel reading was taken by someone looking at the gauge and making a fuel level mark with a biro on the hire paper diagram,if I did pay this extra payment then the MPG of the van would be below 18 MPG (come on?),after the telephone call they agreed on taking £7-50 (hmmm),which,I am sure will not be spent on fuel for the van but into their account,if you hire from them be very sure about the fuel reading and take a picture of the fuel level on hiring and returning.not a happy chappy,I know how much mileage I had done and how much fuel I replaced.be warned

The price and staff's friendly attitude is the winning combo here. The vans are standard and yet also clean and clearly well maintained. You may return the vans at any time of the day or night via a security guard in the compound or yard. The prices are the best in South Wales.

The vehicles were fine but the rates for European use were dire. Wish I had gone further afield to find an alternative.When I had a small accident, I felt I was stitched up in terms of repair costs, with a repairer on the same site. I felt very vulnerable.Could not imagine using them again or recommending them.

Absolutely apaling service . Called to book a van , £110 deducted from my account and was then phoned back the next day because of issue with check code on license . Was told not to worry and that once I got the license check code I could phone back and rebook . Apon phoning the back after getting the check code no one was aware of any such payment and proceeded to be argued with and patronised like I was some kind of liar . Sure their vans are great I would trust them with your card details though . Money was eventually paI'd back into my account after half my morning being wasted arguing with very rude staff .
