Enterprise Car & Van Hire - Shirley

Very efficient and friendy and they tried to find the best solution for our needs regarding automatic versus manual and proportions of the car. H deserves a mention for great customer service. Said what they'd do and did what they'd said.

Rented a van from this branch. Not the first time I’ve hired from Enterprise but the first time I’ve used this branch. Personally I will probably use another branch in future. Gave me a van that had a huge crack down the windscreen. Told no other vehicles were available as an alternative. They then attempted to ask if I wanted to pay an additional excess to reduce the costs if, wait for it, I damaged the windscreen.Wasn’t ideal that I was due to collect at 10am and made arrangements based on collecting the van at that time but the van needed a service which delayed the process. No issue with the van needing a service but would have appreciated a call as a heads up prior to arriving

I received very poor service from Enterprise as they charged me £240 for a budget tyre replacement which I had to replace myself in my own time. The tyre was worth about £60. I will not be using Enterprise again.

Absolutely one of the best Enterprise franchises around. Mubarak and his team always provide a solution even when others don’t. Stratford and Redditch Enterprise have nothing on this branch.I honestly would be so so lost without you lot !Keep up the fantastic work, I hope you get recognised for the passion and drive you provide to me and your other customers ! 10/10 would use 10000 times

Firstly, I would like to say that I am not at all happy with the service I received from the staff at the Stratford Road, Shirley branch, in Solihull. I made a reservation through my online account and went to collect the vehicle from Shirley. When I made the online reservation, I was not informed there was a £200 refundable deposit to pay, in addition to the hire charges. I chose the payment on collection option. Hence when I arrived to collect my hire vehicle I was given a nasty surprise of having to pay an additional £200, in order to hire the vehicle. I had not budgeted for this and did not have sufficient funds to cover the deposit. I should have been made explicitly aware, of the deposit, at the time of my online booking, so I knew what to expect, in advance. As it is, I received a nasty shock and was unable to hire my vehicle. Having returned to the Shirley branch, after borrowing the deposit from someone, they told me the vehicle was no longer available. I was only away for a few minutes. I can't believe the vehicle had become unavailable in such a short time. Also, when checking-in for my hire vehicle, I was subjected to a cross-examination, by the Shirley branch staff, about what I was hiring the vehicle for, where I was from etc. Personal questions, which were totally inappropriate and irrelevant to the conduct of business, at hand. I don't think they know the meaning of the word professional". I had planned and organised my day

Due to a recent accident involving my vehicle, enterprise was the company selected by the insurer to hire me a courtesy car. The process of collecting a car through them was so smooth and effortless. Returning the car was also the same. H was phenomenal throughout the whole thing and made it easy for me to continue to get around even thought my own car was out of use. I was given a Corsa which was fantastic to drive, was in amazing condition and was spotless throughout.
