Ruby has done such an amazing job with my sister birthday cake, the attention to detail is immaculate and even better than I could ever imagine.Not only does it look absolutely amazing but tasted even better.

I’ve ordered from Roo Cakes multiple times now and she never disappoints! Ruby’s cakes are unbelievably delicious, the buttercream is perfect and her flavour combinations and baking are unreal. What really sets Roo Cakes aside is the care, creativeness and attention to detail. She remembered my order a year on and added an extra theme based on what I’d previously got some friends of mine, the addition was white chocolate toppings on buttercream raspberry and strawberry sponge cupcakes (I wish I lived closer to Southend so I could order these at least once a week). If you’re looking for a three tier style cake for a special occasion this is the place as she has a natural artistic flare, if you give her a theme she’ll run with it which takes the pressure off too. Don’t even hesitate to order from her because honestly you won’t be disappointed!! Thank you Ruby!

Just to say if you want a bespoke special occasion cake,cupcakes ,brownies of every description or just scrumptious cake your go to is Roo Cakes. I have used Roo Cakes twice for special occasions and Ruby allows you to run wild with your imagination or leave it her for your dream cake. Oh my goodness - I was 'sold' when I saw these cakes advertised on instagram @roo.cake but they superseded my expectations once I picked them up this afternoon! The only criticism is for myself....I have bought these for my mum and not for me!! Best I buy some more ;)

I have ordered several cakes from Ruby over the last year. I don't really like getting bogged down in tiny specifics and decision-making. If I'm getting someone else to make a cake I don't want to get stressed out about it! Anyway, each time Ruby has designed and created edible works of art that were beyond what I could have imagined, completely different to each other and perfect for the occasion: and somehow they taste as good as they look.I recently ordered a 'naked' victoria sponge with flowers and winter fruits on top for my dad's 60th - it didn't feel too 'girly' and really helped make our 6-person back-garden corona 'party' feel like a proper celebration and not completely miserableI can really trust Ruby to actually listen to me and make beautiful, fun and stylish crowd-pleasers on time and in budget, Thank you Ruby!

Ruby made a peach and raspberry sponge cake for my birthday. It was topped with edible dried flowers and an elephant in nail polish - it was absolutely beautiful. Her cakes are creative and sophisticated and she delivers a kind, thorough service!
