Disappointed with the customer service of Harrisons coal merchants. Having been a regular customer ordering bulk 10 x 50kgs bags of coal over the years , I was disappointed at the quality of a recent delivery. The order should have been Trebles. However, this was not the case as it contained a high quantity of slack and small pieces within the delivery. I called Harrisons to complain and was met with an unhelpful gentleman who could only explain this stating it must be a bad batch of coal. Clearly this is no compensation to the customer! He then suggested I sort out the coal and put it to one side to he replaced in a future order. Even if I had space to do this I informed I was not in the habit of sorting or coal! If they are happy to lose a loyal customer so be it. Needless to say we won't be ordering form Harrisons again.

Good communication and delivery but I suspect I'm not getting the product I pay a premium price for. I have bought the product pre- packed and labelled and even spoken to the manufacturer to confirm its characteristics and the stuff they delivered does not perform to the same standard. Very disappointing and I shall not buy from them again as I cannot verify the authenticity of their products.

Even though we live in a property with restricted access, nothing is too much trouble for the delivery guys. Prices are very good, Deliver on time too. Great service.

Great Colombian Trebles, so chunky and clean in un-ripped bags. Good price too. Despite buying coal for 20 years, I didn't know you could get coal this good. Full marks to the delivery team too who valliantly got the pallet into the right place.

Very easy to order from their site, received a call back the next working day, then delivery the next day. They unloaded all of the coal and stacked it neatly in my garage. Great service and would definitely use again.

I have been having my coal delivered from Harrisons for over ten years and have only ever received excellent service despite my living some distance away from the yard. The prices are competitive and the staff in the office are very friendly and helpful I have recommended Harrisons to some of my friends and members of my family also have their coal delivered from Harrisons. Mick, is very reliable, friendly, and efficient he knows his customers and also their requirements and therefore always makes sure that they have sufficient supplies for their needs he always goes the extra mile WELL DONE!

Just registered as a customer with J Harrison & Sons, and had our first delivery today.Would like to say the delivery service is excellent, a cheerful delivery man who went the extra mile to provide helpful service. Recommended.
