Placed order a week ago. Given delivery date, told to call day before to confirm approximate timing. Did this, checked again first thing on day. Told late morning, early afternoon. Nothing arrived. Called further twice after one hour intervals. Spoke eventually to Tony. Apologies accepted, but not good enough, can't trust Gibbs and Dandy for deliveries on time!

I was assisted by Aaron Jarman who handled my order brilliantly and with little fuss. My order was with me the next day. Excellent service and good quality.

Extremely stressful experience from the moment I placed my order. The delivery came over two days; I was only informed of the one date. When the second delivery arrived no-one was at home to receive it and the member of staff from Gibbs and Dandy shouted at me on the phone saying, “I told you it was coming, I told you!” I had received no correspondence at all. He was incredibly agitated and threatened to charge me a large sum for the re-delivery. I subsequently had to speak to someone at the Dulwich branch and the the penalty for the re-delivery was eventually waived.I paid close to £4000 for the kitchen worktop. In the specifications I advised the member of staff that I would like drainer grooves. I paid the full price up front, which included the drainer grooves. However, when it was installed there were no drainer grooves. When I queried this I was advised that my builder told them that I did not want drainer grooves. The builder categorically denies this. Gibbs and Dandy advised that I would have to make an additional payment of over £1000 to get the grooves on the worktop, and they would refund a little over £100 plus VAT if I should decide to keep it as it is. I felt I was left with no choice but to accept the refund that they were offering, but then they said they would be unable to issue the refund to my credit card, despite having issued refunds for other items previously. The kitchen cabinets came with the panel missing for the cutlery drawer. The individual who has been our primary contact at Gibbs and dandy throughout this experience was contacted by my fitter about this. A video was sent demonstrating that the part was missing. However no action has been taken and they deny receiving any correspondence about this which I know is incorrect as I have seen the message and the video that was sent.My black range cooker has come with a random grey panel. The kitchen is black and white and the grey panel looks completely out of place. I have contacted Gibbs and Dandy about this and I am awaiting a response. The panels that Gibbs and Dandy have provided for the integrated fridge freezer allow for it to be fitted either in a way that would mean both fridge and freezer have to be opened each time either of them has to be used, or you have to open the fridge to gain access to the freezer. Neither of these options is ideal, and reduces the energy efficiency of the appliance as well as being technically and aesthetically problematic. The plan for the kitchen did not allow for my existing washing machine to be integrated into the kitchen although this was what was agreed.Overall, this has been an incredibly stressful experience. I wish I had gone with someone else.

Everything you need in a builders merchant. Heavy building materials. New timber building, and electrical, tools, paint, plumbing and much more. Well worth a visit

Maybe they should change their time to 16:50 closing instead of 17:00. Drove for 30 mins to make it before closes! Ridiculous!

I will give 4.5 stars for now for effort from the team on site and for my deliveries correct but as for those working from home in the accounts department who are there to help get my invoice's correct i think you need to step up and get yourselves sorted out as you could wreck a small business with your mistakes and communication...just saying

After searching for a new shower room for several weeks we were finding it very difficult to decide who to use and what to buy. We called into Gibbs and Dandy in Luton as a bit of an afterthought and saw Lorraine. How we wished we had gone there first! Not only was she willing to spend time patiently guiding us as to the best products to suit our budget, but she was also able to supply them to us at the best prices, so we ended up paying £100s less for quality products than we would have done at other bathroom centres in the area.

The staff are mostly very helpful, knowledgeable and will often go the extra mile. Sometimes you'll get a member of staff having a bad day, but service is generally very good. They have a very good stock of every kind of building material and if they haven't got it, they can often get it in.I like the fact that their deliveries are on on time and the drivers are very professional and helpful.Their website could be more user friendly though, I still find that I often have to phone in or visit in person to order exactly what I need.

Easy parking and plenty of space. Easy to find. Staff are very helpful. Easy to navigate throughout the store and outside (building materials) Just wish they had more stock for outdoor paving. The few they had were very noticeable and well displayed. They did suggest that you can call stone market or Marshall's and request any samples you need before u decide to make your order. Which was very helpful.

They supply practically any building material you could need under one roof. Staff are generally very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices can be a little un competitive, unless you have an account or can negotiate them down. Would recommend them.
