Fast and smooth but can be busy, arrive early.

I must admit it's never been my favourite place to go. Being an old age pensioner I'm not good with computers and nearly every time I go they need me to do something on the computer. The staff are nice enough but unwilling to assist people like myself.

Fantastic staff - really helpful with everything, including taking the time to explain any issues you may have with your forms or documents. Great/quick experience, especially if you arrive early in the morning at opening time.

Don’t bother unload your photo for online applications, because it’s gonna fail anyway. They need will ask take photo again in the Photo Booth and it’s cost £9! And also don’t wear glasses even frameless, because some how it will make a shadow on your face lol. And they will ask you take retake photo again, cost me £18 for photos!! So please take photo elsewhere.

Words fail!Never saw the same person twice and had been provided with wrong information since January. ABC needed to be XYZ and then it turns out that one needs FGH but, actually ABC is required but in different format and so it goes on.....Literally, something else/ different asked for every time I went.Appointment times were ignored and ended up several times queuing for over an hour without any tangible result at the end it it.Time has run out as all the necessary forms are now nil and void.On-line information about cost and payment method is out of date and inaccurate: £20.00 per document turned into £47.00 and card payment only despite information stating that card or cash are acceptable.Frustrating doesn't cover it and having already spent close to £1000 thanks to the incomprehensible attitude and deliberate? incompetence I have given up.Good Luck with getting anywhere at that centre

Very efficient. Friendly staff. Just make sure you have all the documents in hard copy that are required in support of your application. Several folk in the queue didn't and were sent away.

I have been here before to obtain a visa for visiting China and the staff have always been most kind and courteous - fei chang gan xie !!
