We visited the Small Beach at Aberavon, which is dog friendly all year around and there is a small car park nearby.

Great Beach, lots of space to set up your tents/chairs/mats etc, water is far from the sand though so it is a bit of a trek, ideal on a very hot day.

Miles of beautiful sand but limited facilities like toilets. A lot of the facilities that are there are centered around the businesses run by the leader of the beach council.Fantastic beach.

Aberavon Beach
The beach was stunning and quite long. We walked from Afon Estuary to Neath Estuary and on the way back went over the dunes. Fantastic experience.

Aberavon Beach
Aberavon beach is an amazing beach. Its golden sand as far as the eye can see. Also it has lovely coffee shops, café /restaurant along tthe prom. I absolutely love taking my golden retriever down there for a walk/play. It is also I safe haven for my mental health.

Sandy beach, tide goes out quite far but the sea is quite rough. Children's play areas exist a crazy golf circuit and a cafe , a very good chip shop close by.

A gorgeous beach. Safe for children. Huge expense of sand. A promenade with cafes offering a good choice. Dogs are welcome all year round but from May to the end of September the beach is virtually cut in half and dogs only allowed on the right-hand side. However still a good expanse to walk. The promenade is excellent for disabled or wheelchair users, and all are welcome in Franco's, a popular cafe - good coffee, excellent fish and chips. Easy access and plenty of parking options.
