The best hot chocolate ever! Tastes like melted chocolate, very rich. The afternoon tea is also great (and books up fast and far in advance) and you can get it with Prosecco. They have lovely cakes and sweets as well.

The afternoon tea here was pretty substandard, this is a shame as when I have previously had this as takeaway afternoon tea it was much better, the contents have since changed. The savouries were OK and the loose leaf tea was good. The scones were reheated which is understandable however one of them was burnt and the others were not far off burnt, they were very crunchy on the outside. The patisserie sold from the counter is still good however the selection and quality of what was served in the afternoon tea was not. A very sticky, soggy financier, one macaron and a petite gateau. The gateau was OK but overall I was disappointed as were my guests.I will not be a repeat customer for afternoon tea, I wish we had ordered a filled croissant and patisserie from the counter. I did not find this good value for money.

I tried passion fruit coconut Musse cake. The proportion between the filling and the mousse wasn't balanced as the filling was too small and cause the cake to taste a bit greasy.Furthermore, the full coconut base is not needed since it gives a coarse texture and it didn't match the mousse texture beauty well. Personally, the base could be a normal biscuit base with a bit of thinner shredded coconut and use coconut butter and a wee bit of thick coconut milk instead of the butter. Btw I like the filling, a wee bit of lemon balanced the mousse.⁽⁽ଘ( ˙꒳˙ )ଓ⁾⁾

Really nice little place. The cakes and macaroons are to die for and the service was superb. I'd definitely want to come back to try some of the other cakes.

Such a lovely, bright little place. The two ladies serving us were bubbly and extremely helpful, very nice to interact with. They were patient with us as we couldn’t decide on a dessert and offered lovely recommendations. The desserts were delicious and so different! Such a delightful experience and the aesthetic was perfect. I highly recommend this place for a morning cuppa and treat or even a boozy afternoon tea (our next plan)!

If you’re looking for show stopping cakes or sweet treats in Aberdeen then Almondine is the place to be. A French patisserie, this gorgeous cafe is absolutely stunning. It features a gorgeous flower wall too and is a perfect place to catch up with friends. The cakes are next level and the mirror glaze on the desserts I got was insane. You won’t find cakes like this in Aberdeen anywhere else. Oh, and the macarons are just divine.December 2019 addition: I also tried out the festive afternoon tea which was just sublime. The range of cakes not to mention the attention to detail in design and flavour was incredible. One of, if not the best afternoon tea experiences in Aberdeen.

We had an exquisite afternoon tea, amazing pattiseries and macarons, savoury filled warm croissants, delicious warm gougeres filled with truffle and bechamel sauce. Plus a selection of finger sandwiches. Mango mousse and scones with cream and jam. I had the lychee and rose loose leaf tea but they also have a full range of teas and coffees to choose from. If you want a really relaxing afternoon tea served with lovely crockery and cutlery by very friendly and helpful staff, in a very nice French style cafe, served between 12.00 and 3.00, this is the place for you.

First time in Aberdeen, we decided to book an afternoon tea here after seeing their beautiful photos on IG. This place was lovely! Gorgeous patisserie set out on delicate china. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended!
