Just want to say that I am absolutely delighted with how quickly I have been able to get back on the road, thanks to Velo Bavarian, after an accident that wrecked my SuperSix Evo frame.I am amazed at how smoothly and hassle free they made the process of me going from disaster on a tram line to back on the road. Replacement frame and rebuild.

I genuinely cannot recommend this shop enough.There is a real emphasis from most retailers nowadays on simply selling you a product, whether or not it really suits you, and whether or not you really need it.In contrast, Luke, and the rest of the VB team, take an honest, caring approach, and actually invest in you, not simply as a consumer, but as an individual.Whether you need a new bike, a service, or simply some advice, VB are more than happy to help, and consequentially, have developed an amazing community of cyclists that frequent and support the shop.I thoroughly and unreservedly recommend VB: pop in, chat to the team, and get involved with the best bike shop I have ever visited (period).

Absolutely amazing service from Luke and the team at Velo Bavarian! Recently got into cycling and needed advice on what bike to go for and what I needed to get set up. Decided to go with a Merida and I was blown away on my first ride this morning, delighted with my choice and couldn't thank the guys enough for the advice on what to go for and all my questions! Luke and the team at Velo Bavarian exemplify all that is good about local bike shops. They are passionate about cycling and the cycling community and know what they are talking about. They share their expertise freely and take great care in making sure the advice and services they offer are fully fit for purpose. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic service, and just really nice people.I’ve had my bike for about three years and it’s started to show its age. It needed a service and it also needed some of the components replacing due to damage. I had a conversation with VeloBavarian and they talked me through the options. They didn’t just try to sell me the most expensive, they gave me a range of options and talked me through the pros and cons of each. The net result is I have a significantly upgraded bike at a price I’m happy with.The bike was serviced quickly, but personal circumstances meant I couldn’t collect it for a few weeks: they had no problem securely storing it and then when I collected it, they helped me get it onto the bike rack (the personal circumstances being a knee operation that meant I couldn’t lift)A nice touch I thought was that they provided me with the boxes and instructions for all the components fitted, and also gave me the components as spares where they still had some life left.The component prices at first sight were slightly more expensive than I could have got them from an online retailer, but the difference of course was that their prices included fitting, which is not trivial! I’m certainly very happy with the prices.The final point, and perhaps the most important, was that they agreed not to tell my wife how much I’d spent on the upgrades.

I needed a lite advice and found Velo Barvarian to be friendly, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. It seems like a great shop, for people at all levels. Would recommend.
