Jay Butler Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Jay Butler BJJ is probably one of the best places to learn and train BJJ. It’s a fantastic mix of high level athletes, new beginners and everyone in-between.As soon as my son is old enough he will be enrolling as Jay is not only is a great adult and athlete coach but a father too. He understands how to talk to kids and get the best out of them. Every child I’ve seen finish as the adults start they are all smiling, even their parents too.Every coach under Jay is at the same standard too, so no matter who takes your session, you will have the best experience.The community here is welcoming and supportive too. You don’t have to train everyday to feel like your part of Jays team.If you’re looking for a place to start, restart or change to, this is the place to be.

Jay is a great fighter, great teacher and a super nice guy. His new club is awesome. Everything is great quality and it's kept super clean. There's a great feeling in the community of students and there are no aggressive idiots training there. There are however, a lot of senior practitioners that are serious about BJJ, which really makes it a great place to learn and practice. If you been thinking of trying it out, or looking for somewhere that may be better than where you are - then check it out!

This academy is the main reason why I am still doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Jay’s passion and enthusiasm for Jiu Jitsu, as well as the expert teaching from all the coaches here made me really appreciate and be better at the sport.You could not be in better hands, highly recommend for anyone new to the sport, the environment is always friendly and social.

My son, a shy 14 year old, attends JBBJJ. He had no interest in sports or physical fitness but agreed to go along for a trial class.He LOVES this academy. Jay treats him as an individual and somehow, he manages to give every child in his class support, encouragement and advice individually throughout!There is obviously a positive physical impact but the positive psychological impact is far more important to us.Cannot thank Jay, Mikayla, Eammon and the whole family at JBBJJ enough!Try it, you won’t look back!

Together Mikayla and Jay both made sure I felt very welcome to my first session. Everyone there were very friendly and approachable. The session was great, lots of techniques and plenty of rolling. Can't wait to go to my next session!
