Went to shop this morning after night shift. Several staff working on the floor ( stacking shelves, floor mopping) - I was totally ignored.Store absolutely freezing, probably would have browsed longer but too cold.Only cheerful staff member was lady at till, even though she was cold.Very disappointing experience.

I called into this store on tuesday the 30th of may 2023 to buy two pots for my garden also two plants to put in them. On entering the garden section only one assistant was present he was moving plants from one place to another i asked him if he could tell me the price of an unpriced pot he replied in an offhand manner ( Could you not have asked someone who was not busy )He was the only member of staff at the time in that area this is no way to treat customers .I will in future use the hexham branch for my purchases as the staff there are polite and accomodating.

Good selection of basic garden supplies at a reasonable price,Spring is here and the Garden is going to be growing organic food for me, family, friends and my neighbors too.Helpful Staff who were genuinely interested and happy to help me.

The staff at this b&m are always rude. Last time i shopped here the person at the tills said out loud so i could hear ‘oh here he comes i’ll have to id him like i have done a million times already’ as i was approaching the tills. Brilliant customer service. Will never be returning here
