The Fig Tree Kennels and Cattery

My dog loves going to fig tree, he gets so excited when we pull up and drags me to the door. Nicola and her staff are so friendly and caring. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Also a bonus that Royal Rascals groomers are on site so we have a lovely groomed dog for pick up.

Nicola and her team are amazing. This was the first time we had used the kennels for our little one who is a rescue, so we/I was rather nervous about putting her into kennels, but a surprise party at home, meant we felt it would be in her interest to have a holiday for the weekend. Nicola was so assuring that everything would be Ok and the pre kennel visit was so good for both me & Roma. For her first visit she coped better than any of us expected and both the telephone & video updates where a life line (I'm sure I was far more anxious than the Roma). Although she did miss us and was so pleased to see us it would appear her holiday" as done her the world of good. She is coping so much better being apart from me. We look forward to using the Kennels for all our holidays and hope to use the doggy day care in the future. We would 100% recommend these kennels and I think with more visits/stays she will become even more confident and enjoy her own holidays here. Blaze (a 2 year old Cavapoo) recently stayed for 11 nights while we were on holiday. Nicola made time to meet us prior to his stay and discussed his needs. She made some recommendations regarding his diet that I followed and has had really positive results. The atmosphere is really relaxed and chilled, as are the dogs. I did not hear any barking at all on my pre-stay visit, drop off or pick up. I felt happy leaving him at Fig Tree and he came home looking very well cared for and happy.The staff are kind and caring. I will be using again and would definitely recommend to others.

I have used Fig Tree for my cat for several years and never had a problem. The staff are friendly and caring and the sccomodation warm and cosy for Pixie. She always appears well cared for when I collect her.

We had always avoiding using kennels, as we were worried it would be stressful for our 2 little dogs, which are both quite nervous. When we went to meet Nicola we felt reassured that our dogs would be in safe hands, and they would give medication as instructed. The team there are all lovely, and our dogs have always been excited to go in as they have a lovely time there - we call it their holiday home." Figtree is a very small business

I used fig tree kennels for the first time, Marley stayed for 11 days boarding while we was on holiday. They kept me updated throughout , he had the best care from the lovely ladies at fig tree. I can’t thank them enough, he came home a very happy boy. Thanks for taking amazing care of him! Highly recommend fig tree and will be using again :-) x

I have 2 rescue dogs that had never stayed in kennels before. One of them is terrified of new people and places and I was so nervous about leaving her in kennels. I booked them in for a couple of day stays and, to my surprise Aurora trotted off with Nicola on the first day and was excited to go back for her second day stay! Even their first weekend stay went well. Nicola and her team are amazing and I'm relieved that I can now go on holiday and feel confident that my babies will be happy and so well looked after.

Great place, who took a relatively late booking from us to board our little staffie for 12 nights while we went away in early November. The staff were supportive and knowledgeable, and our little girl seemed to love her time there.When we collected her, they said she was great and very loveable due to her typical staffie personality.Highly recommended and our girl will be going back!

I was really worried when I left Lucy for the first time at Fig Tree kennels as she had never been in kennels before. I need not have worried as she seemed to have a great time. The staff are very friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend Fig Tree Kennels to anyone who needs to have their fur babies looked after.
