Popped in for a quick cocktail and would definitely recommend !!! Go for something from the world cocktail menu !!Friendly and helpful staff!!

OMG truly awful Christmas experience. Starter was particularly small. Took an hour to serve, seconds to eat. The main was a joke, Turkey what Turkey? A plate of burnt veg (including the sprouts) stuffing and a tiny piece of white meat roll, likely from the freezer. If we hadn't pre paid we'd have walked out. As it was they refunded in full, so that gets one star. The waiter was 5 star despite the disaster that is the kitchen service. Friends who went the following night said it was equally awful. Likely the corporate groups keep them afloat. If your reading this management and you don't agree, your in denial in my opinion.

Always a favourite for cocktails where there is a thoughtful and different menu, not just the usuals. The service was excellent. Marked down only because it was so very noisy,

Nice venue with good music. Just be aware if you’re making a large booking not all guests will get a seat. Group of 20, we were gave a table for 6 and told it is in the terms and conditions (which fair enough it may be). Make sure you know this before booking as other tables were caught out too

The afternoon tea was excellent quality, the staff were amazing, so friendly and kind and the cocktails were delicious.Highly recommend.

Beautiful building, and interior. Staff friendly and attentive. We ordered from brunch menu, and all 3 of us very happy with our food. Reasonably priced - would happily visit again.

Booked an afternoon cream tea but what a disappointment!! Do not understand the reviews on this site! We were seated in the general bar, not a dedicated area for cream teas as we had incorrectly assumed. The cream tea turned up with stale sandwiches served by a scruffy waiter in jeans and denim shirt. These were replaced but the scruffy waiter never returned to check that everything was alright or apologise. The large pot of tea, clearly for two had one teabag in it. We asked for a second pot with this waiter but it didn't materialise and we had to see a separate waitress who produced it very quickly, explaining that they were short staffed, not acceptable on a busy Sunday afternoon..... clearly the waiter had forgotten about us. The scones were adequate but certainly not fresh and the pot of cream had to be rationed out !! The bill was reduced upon paying, so the staff were clearly aware of the inadequacies of both service and staff, but no apology or explanation was given...although they didn't forget to add 10% gratuity.We left feeling deflated, after looking forward to a nice afternoon treat and would not recommend this venue.
