We booked Flixton House for our wedding at the end of July 2023. The staff, Debbie & Jo, were very helpful to show us around, discuss our plans and talk through what was possible. They helped us to create a wonderful day that was well organised and ran perfectly.It's important to know that as a building of local historic interest owned by the council, there are some things that make it different to other places you might choose.The maximum capacity for you and your guests for an event is 100 people. That worked for us for the ceremony but meant we held a separate party elsewhere: the gardens are a public space so there is no option to have a marquee or gazebo to extend the space for guests.Flixton House has its own suppliers for food and drink. The drinks packages are very reasonable and if you have any specific requests, the team will happily source what you are after, again, at a very good price. Their caterers are C&C and can offer you traditional menus for sit down meals as well as plenty of little extras to fit around a party. All our guests commented on how delicious, fresh and hot the food was.Flixton House works as a beautiful blank canvass: you can dress the rooms as you like, bring in your own florists, photographer, DJ, entertainment etc. and the staff will help draw up a plan to work with your suppliers and order the day.We would absolutely recommend Flixton House and their team for parties and weddings. We received a really personal welcome and service from the first look-around right through to the day itself.

I recently held my wedding reception here and highly recommend. Sian was beyond helpful with preparations and all of the staff on the day were brilliant! The catering recommended was of very high quality! I had a wonderful time with much thanks to everyone at Flixton House. I can’t recommend this place enough for events! The room is gorgeous too!

I had my Mendhi event at Flixton house a couple of days ago (pre-wedding party) . My guest were absolutely pleased with the venue .Flixton house is incredibly clean, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.Their is also a dressing room, where you can get ready, which I absolutely LOVED. (I have attached a picture)I can't begin to comment on how LOVELY Debbie and the girls were and how well my guest were treated . My guest made no exception to continuously tell me how comfortable they were made to feel" by Debbie and the team

I ended up visiting this venue recently for an engagement party and the venue itself is stunning and is well maintained. There is ample parking available and the staff went above and beyond, especially Debbie and Sian along with the rest of the other staff. The toilet facilities were clean throughout the entire day. There is also plenty of disabled toilets and a changing room.Was a pleasure attending the event at this venue and will hope many more are held here in the future. Thank you everyone involved. 5/5
