SUP Active Yorkshire

Had a banging afternoon out Paddleboarding with Danny! He is awesome, very kind and accommodating. Super knowledgeable on the boards especially for teaching beginners. Took us around the lake, very relaxing, teaching us all the moves and even some tricks. Arranged snacks and brews for a little break and then let us have a go playing with the big tandem board and other equipment. Definitely would recommend and thank you again for a sick session!

Just had an improver session this afternoon with Adam at SUP Active Yorkshire. Had a fantastic afternoon.I went wanting to imrpve my confidence on the board and to properly learn the step back pivot turn. Adam started by observing then breaking down my forward paddle, giving me little pointers and improvements to each bit. The difference was night and day with how my paddle stroke developed. He then taught me how to step back and do a step back pivot turn.By the end of the session I'd fallen in a few times, all part of the fun, but felt so much more at home and confident on the board, and with a host of new or improved techniques to practice. All for the incredibly reasonable price of £37, which included the use of a good quality board which saved the effort of inflating my own.I will definitely go back when I need to polish my skills further!Great instructor, great kit and great facilities!Thanks Adam & SUP Active Yorkshire!Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience at SUP Active Yorkshire! Would thoroughly recommend them to anyone wanting to give SUP a go. Our instructor, Adam was really good at explaining the basics and once we got on to the water he gave us lots of fun challenges to try. I fell off the board a couple of times and ended up a bit cold and wet but once we'd had a little break with a hot cup of tea and a snack, I was raring to go again.

Top instructors that put you at ease, clearly experienced and passionate about what they do. Excellent equipment, and lovely clean lake to learn on at Ellerton.

What a fabulous team of people. We booked as a family on an introductory session and had an amazing time. Well paced tuition with clear guidance and lots of giggles. Kids are desperate to go again, immediately! Thank you SUP active

Great experience and a beautifull lake to learn how to sup....Adam was very knowledgeable and helped us to learn a racing turn which ended in a dunking...would highly recommend this company and venue

Danny and Josie were both brilliant today. We had a mixed of beginners and intermediate boarders and they catered for us all. They were especially great with a frightened 11 year old who by the end was racing around. Great fun, great value. Thank you.
