Amazing place and cannot commend the volunteers enough, they must have worked their little stocking tops off over the last couple of years. Many varied and interesting exhibits, fabulous staff, georgeous tearooms. In the diary to go back in September, next time I'm staying in Lincolnshire.

Great Visitors Centre to Visit. Its like a Tardis full of memorabilia from WW1 to the Cold War. All run and maintained by volunteers. If you haven't been you really must it's always expanding and changing for the better!!

A hidden gem. It is a place which is hiding a lot of very interesting surprises with its theme as a working airfield during the second world war. They also hold display day's where people come with their stationary engines and military vehicles.

I had no idea this museum existed , we were driving by when the Electric Lightning caught my eye , it’s a fiver to get in whilst some people could think of it has small , their is a lot of local history to get through the volunteers go the extra mile to be super helpful also , if your passing & your interested in finding out some local RAF & WWII / Cold War history I highly recommend you drop in I found the section about POW’s of particular interest. A collection of classic cars & jeeps was also really nice to see.

What can I say this was a great experience! Everyone there was more than happy to show me and my partner around and tell us all of the great history around the building and in the hangers, we had a great time and the employees made it so much better by telling us stories! Will be going again for sure!Thank you for all the workers we appreciate you.

We visited Thorpe Camp last Sunday, a wonderful place to visit for all age groups. Everyone very friendly and pleased to pass on information about all sorts of things connected with the camp and the area. All the exhibits well cared for, a lot of love, thought and care has been put into this project. We enjoyed it so much we visited again yesterday afternoon and we still haven’t seen everything, another visit required. They make a good cuppa in the Spitfire Cafe too. Five star plus plus. Cafe at the back serves hor and cold drinks, cakes and biscuits. There's no hot food. Plenty of seating, and a small shop area at the back of the cafe. Plenty to look around and read. Decent sized car park.

We had been told it was quite small, well physically yes it is, but information and content it certainly is not. A wealth of knowledge from friendly volunteers and masses of informative displays laid out in a structured manner, using the buildings well. Really enjoyed our afternoon looking round wished we could have spread it over another day, the opening hours are short. The cost is cheap but the visit is worth so much more. The Spitfire tea room serves cakes and drinks and again they could and should charge more because it’s worth it!Thank you all who shared knowledge with us.

A very interesting place to visit and much bigger than I expected it to be. Thorpe camp is packed full of interesting bits of information, and lots of personal stories from the people station RAF Woodhall Spa, with a nice cafe for a cup of Tea and cake
