I would highly recommend Jessica (mortgage advisor) at Kidderminster. So helpful, friendly and professional. She cares about getting you the best deal, she's checked in with me all through the process to ensure everything was progressing smoothly.

In my recent experience of trying to sell a property with Connells, unless you chase them for updates, nothing will happen with your sale if there are any unforeseen issues. I found out early on that weeks and go by without any checks that all was progressing as it should be. This meant in my case the sale ended up failing as it had been going on for several months before the buyer pulled out. If they had been doing what they were incentivised to do, I am certain the sale would have completed. Have moved my property to another provider to hopefully have a better experience.

Would really recommend Jessica, the mortgage adviser at Connells Kidderminster. We had spoken to 4 or 5 others (from different Estate Agents) and from the initial contact Jess was by far the most pro-active and keen to win our business. We had a plan to buy a couple of properties into our company and therefore a more complex process than buying as an individual. Jess was knowledgeable and helped us avoid any issues that could have slowed or stopped the process. The additional benefit was noted as we were buying properties Connells were selling agents for and Jess was able to help bridge the communication between sales, rent and mortgage. When finding a mortgage as a first-time buyer, Jessica Smith at Connells could not have made my life easier. Every step of the way she explained things thoroughly and did so in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner. As I'm not local to Kidderminster, we undertook the whole process via phone and email and at no point did I feel that put me at a disadvantage. If you've got bad neighbours who are loud and inconsiderate in every possible way and Connells are the middle men with the rent. Don't bother asking for any advice or help, because they don't care. As long as they get their money, they're happy to do nothing.

We recently brought our first home through Jessica Smith, a mortgage manager at Connells estate agents Kidderminster.She was honestly outstanding throughout the entire process and provided the best service we could ever have. We had communicated with Jessica for over a year before hand but put our search on hold while we got married. We returned to Jess in January 2023, went through the whole process and managed to move into our home only 3 months later in March 2023. She is very reliable, punctual, friendly, professional and just amazing at her job! I honestly can't praise her enough, she is worth her weight in gold and so much more.She helped with finding the best mortgage for us, submitted our application, sorting home and contents insurance, life insurance, she liaised with our solicitors whenever we needed her too and constantly asking if there is anything else she can do for us. She provided the best advice and even if their was something outside of her expertise she pointed us in the right direction.Purchasing a house is a very long and stressful process but Jess really took the weight off.On our day of picking up the keys, we had not heard anything from Shipways to let us know they were ready to be picked up. So we called Jess and she sorted it out with haste for us! She contacted anyone and everyone to help us.On the day where we needed to notify our house insurance of contract exchange, Jess was off work that day but she still spent her time and speedily sorted it out for us after a quick email even on her day off!
