I have to give 'One' star would rather give a zero rating! Hired costume for Christmas event and as I am a Tudor tour guide then I required a costume to be made. Paula agreed to do this for me, took my measurements and agreed a date/month it was required for...Waited to hear from Paula...nothing, contacted her she said she would send me swatches in the post...nothing arrived!One year later, still no costume! No word or follow up from Paula, nothing.Really badly let me down big time!I was introduced to a professional costumer who has made all my Tudor kirtle, corset and other bits for me and is now making me a Tudor costume with fabulous material!!Thanks for nothing Paula and wasting my time, you should of been honest with me from the beginning if you didn't't want the commission!

Helpful and friendly service

Deciding I needed a hobby which would allow me to switch off all thoughts of running a business and the stresses it brings you - and the fact I have a brand new sewing machine that has rarely been used, I booked on to the beginners pattern cutting Evening classes. The first session was making a skirt block and it was brilliant. Paula made me feel very welcome and Peter, the tutor is an excellent teacher, patient, encouraging and passionate about textiles and all things creative. Both are a fountain of knowledge and the Evening was full of hints, tips, trivia and How To's... I loved it so much that the first thing I did this morning was book on to more sessions before the places get all booked up. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Hired 4 costumes for a fancy dress charity event, Paula was very helpful with supplying the costumes and making sure everything fit. The costumes are also very good quality and authentic I would definately recommend it if you are looking for a high quality authentic costume.
