From my Mum, Margaret:Hollie and the 'Wedding Workshop' team, what can I say, WOW, and thank you, thank you, thank you!I was so incredibly excited about our daughters forthcoming marriage and loved going along with her to the Wedding Workshop to look at dress designs and then for her dress fittings. It was always such a lovely personal experience for us all.My only concern about the wedding as it got closer was what I 'the mother of the bride' would wear! The more I looked around the less I liked!!!! I happened to mention this to Hollie one day and she answered I will make your dress".It was so amazing

What can I say. My best friend got married a few weeks ago at The White Hart, Ampthill, and Danielle from The Wedding Workshop shaved the day.My best friend had brought her dress from another supplier and was about to leave the room to walk down the aisle when then back of her dress broke - leaving us having to hold it all together with a safety pin!I noticed that the The Wedding Workshop was just down the road and took it upon myself to go and see if they could help. Once I got there, I not only discovered the most beautiful dresses, but the wonderful, friendly seamstress, Danielle.After explaining the issue she dropped everything she was doing, grabbed a needle, thread and strong hook and eyelet, and came with me to save the day.Not only did she fix the dress, but she wouldn’t take any money and left us with a spare set of repairs should anything else happen again.The dress repair was superb and held throughout the rest of the day.Thank you so much Danielle for saving my bestest friend’s wedding.

I used the Wedding Workshop to help alter my wedding dress as I am 6 months pregnant and they were fantastic in taking some boning out of my dress to make it more comfortable for my tummy and they also added the most perfect sleeves to give me more support.They were so friendly, professional and super efficient. Thank you to all especially Holly.

Hollie and the team at The Wedding Workshop recently made my wedding dress and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. The process from start to finish is seamless and really fun! Hollie is so attentive and experienced and understood exactly what I wanted. I went with my mum on multiple occasions to select fabrics and for fittings, all appointments were suggested by Hollie to make sure the dress was perfect. It was a really special experience and I got so many compliments on the dress on the big day. Thank you so much for my dream wedding dress!

I will never be able to put into words what a magical experience it has been to have my wedding dress designed and made by yourselves.When we began planning our 'New Years Eve Wedding' I had very little idea about what I wanted my dress to look like. From my very first visit, you made me feel at ease, listened to all of our plans and designed a dress that could not have been more perfect!With 'three dresses in one' I was able to have a beautiful traditional gown that had the perfect nod to my Mum's wedding dress, the train off for my first dance so that I could enjoy every moment with ease, and an incredible New Years Eve party dress with a splash of sparkle and colour to match my bridesmaids!Not only did you make me a wedding dress that was more special than any I could have ever imagined, you also brought the whole look of our wedding to life; making parts of my bridesmaids outfits, my Mum's beautiful dress, getting all of our hair pieces made, recommending and customising shoes and even helping with ideas for the boys outfits too!As an only child, getting married was so special, not only for Nick and I, but our families too. You truly gave us an experience we will never ever forget!You are amazing, thank you so so so much!Victoria x

Dress MagiciansI originally went to the Wedding Workshop to have a dress taken in, this was done with great skill and care.After covid hit and wedding cancellations, I was then in the market for something a little more casual, and went for a wedding skirt. I described what I was thinking and sent a few pictures, that were similar but not quite what I wanted. Danielle understood exactly what I was thinking, and made the most beautiful piece, which was casual and beautiful for the wedding event we had planned.One more date cancellation and an unexpected pregnancy, the skirt needed adjustments, which were once again completed with skill and care.I cannot recommend Danielle and Hollie enough! The constant unknown of covid, the beauty and skill of their design and work, and flexibility in the pandemic made an awful situation, much, much more bearable.I'll be back for any adjustments, when we get to do our day properly!

I regrettably did not get my dress from here but I wish I had. My dress hook broke just as I was leaving to go to the ceremony. We done a temporary fix but I was constantly on edge.The wedding workshop dropped everything and came to the venue a few doors down and put in a new hook. Would not take payment and left spare hook, tread and needle.I truly cannot thank them enough, really saved the day. I was able to enjoy the rest of the day without worrying if it was going to snap again.Thank you again so much

The brides hook and eye snapped on the back of her dress at a wedding venue close to the The Wedding Workshop. One of the wedding group went into the shop and spoke with them, they came across to the venue and stitched a new hook and eye on the dress and were very helpful- the dress was not purchased from them but they would not take any money to fix it and were amazing. The bride could relax for the rest of the wedding and enjoy herself without worrying about her dress because of the helpfulness and kindness of the lady’s who run this shop.

Hollie and the team are absolutely wonderful. A 5 star service from start to finish. From the initial consultation, Hollie expertly guided and advised me based on my initial ideas, then through the process was professional, friendly and knowledgable. You feel so involved in every step of the dress development and the finished product was incredible. A personalised and bespoke service for the price of most 'off-the-rack' wedding dresses - could not highly recommend enough.

I went to the Wedding Workshop knowing I didn't want a 'normal' wedding dress, and a few ideas of things I liked but not much else. Over the course of a few consultations and visits the amazing team turned my vague ramblings into a dress I will always cherish. Perfectly made, beautifully crafted - the one of a kind, hand dyed ombre dress, with a detachable train they made fit perfectly and made me feel fantastic! I can't thank Hollie and the rest of the team enough and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone looking for a custom-made outfit.
