Terrible Company to be avoided. I've had several pushy phone calls from a quite rude salesman. The previous call they informed me they were sizing a job two doors down and asked if they could give us a quote. I said to know on the door and if we're in fine, no problem, but we didn't want to wait around. No-one turned up, which isn't a problem, but getting earful in the next sales call because I should know if i'm going to be home or not" was extremely unprofessional.Given the presales experience

Fitters have no consideration of the areas in which they park creating a hazard and effectively blocking the drives of other houses in the street.I had to reverse onto the pavement which is illegal under the highway code in order to gain access onto my drive and my next door neighbour would never be able to turn onto her drive as the road width has been reduced considerably.It begs the question, if they cannot obey the highway code or indeed park considerately what kind of quality of work are they doing since they cannot follow instructions and rules set by obtaining a driving licence?I had to call in order to complain about this obvious hazard in which 1 van moves off and the company van moves forward still blocking mine and next doors drive. The white van moves to within 10 metres of a junction which again against the highway code.These people are at work, they should be following the rules, any incidents caused by their lack of driving skills would go against them when the insurance companies got involved,Shocking behaviour.

These guys have done several jobs for me in recent years. As always, I am delighted with my new lounge windows which are a much better quality than the previous ones. Everyone involved at Amber have been very polite, professional and efficient. Many thanks to you all.

We have ordered a composite door. The installation made on the day/time committed without any issues. Michael who did the installation was very kind, very tidy and very helpfull. We are very happy with our new door. I didnt had the chance to say thank you to Michael; so Thank you Michael..

I've used Amber Windows in the past, but having moved from the area didn't think to ask them for a quote. I'd had several high pressure salesmen with cheaper quotes from local and national companies which didn't appeal to me, when coincidentally Amber called me. I was pleased they covered my new area and that they now do narrow profiles for retirement park homes. The quality of the profile is excellent, better than any others I've seen and the price while dearer was still competitive. There was only a 4 week wait from date of order to fitting. The fitters, Ian, Chris and an apprentice arrived promptly on the day, covered everything with dust sheets, had the old windows out and the new ones in, remarkably quickly. Nothing was too much trouble, it was like having friends in the house, they worked hard, fast and were still able to talk, listen and joke. The windows look really good inside and out and are very well finished off, they left the place far cleaner than I expected, taking all the old windows and rubbish away. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you.

Great service from Amber Windows fitting my front door and window. Have used them in the past for window and door replacement and have always found the installers prompt and efficient. This month, fitters, Ian Showell and Chris arrived on time and were very professional. No mess afterwards either. I am very pleased with the work and will not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Many thanks.

We had our windows fitted yesterday and my gosh has it made a difference. I cannot thank enough the fitters that got them in.We had Pete and Ian come on Monday at about 10.30 and despite the weather they managed to get four windows put in upstairs before storm Ciara hit to hard and I really mean the winds were blowing like mad, it keep starting and stopping raining before they called it and said they couldn't keep going due to the weather.Now on Tuesday we had two lots of fitters. The first to arrive was Julian and Steve at about 8.30. By this time our house and communal parking was more of an ice rink than anything else. But they got stuck in and ripped out the two remaining windows upstairs and had started just started fitting them when Pete and Ian got here. Ian was finishing off the outside to the windows that were fitted the day before, now that man must be the bravest person I have ever met he was just flying up them ladders despite the fact it was sat on ice, there was no ground to be seen it was ice and the weather wasnt letting up either.I can not tell you how cold it was but it was freezing and these men did an absolutely fantastic job. They didnt stop they was getting the job done. Pete and Julian's banter also was worth what we paid for these windows they just have you laughing the pair are comedy gold.Nothing was to much, if you had any querys they we more than happy to explain and show you everything.The credit to this company are not the windows ( even though they are extremely good windows) but there fitters. We had 12 windows and two doors to be fitted and they got them done in a two day fit which should of been a three day fit, so now we have a nice day for ourselves which is a bonus.

This review is somewhat of a mixed one, after choosing this company, to fit our front & rear doors.On first contacting them, we had a face to face appointment at our home, to talk through everything that we wanted, followed by a surveyor visit, to check that all measurements taken were correct.Unfortunately on the day of fitting the doors, the two lads that turned up didn’t tell us that one of the pieces of glass for the front door had broke, until at the end of the day. What followed on from this, I can only describe was a catalogue of errors & poor workmanship. Immediately after this we contacted the original salesman straightaway, & he was immediately apologetic, followed by him contacting a senior manager, & within an hour the senior manager for the fitting team contacted us directly. He assured us this is a rare incident, & he would come out personally to inspect the work carried out. When he arrived he already gave us positive news that the two fitters have been dealt with internally, & he will inspect the work we were unhappy with, along with checking all areas. Once the inspection was complete, he agreed everything needed to be started again, & he will get his best fitter to correct everything. Once a date was planned in, we had one fitter turn up, & I have to say he did everything to a high standard, & recommended other areas to improve.Finally due to this all taking place, they agreed to replace our numbered glass that we weren’t happy with due to a design error. Although we had bad things happen, the company as a whole dealt with everything professionally & swiftly.

Hadn’t used Amber before, but was very pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and workmanship shown by Julian and Steve. The windows look amazing and the difference they’ve made to the house is already apparent. Will definitely recommend and use them again. Thanks very much!

I've unfortunately got to edit this review. I have had issues that need correcting almost as soon as the windows were fitted. After several visits we still have problems and I struggle to get response and details on when the works will be rectified.... I hope to be able to edit again in the future but at the moment I would definitely NOT recommend.Mick and Nathan have been fitting our windows & doors for us and its been a pleasure!! They have been so polite, really considerate with covering things up and cleaning up after themselves, kept me informed of what they are doing and any problems they have encountered and, even more importantly, performing up to my very high standards. I am known for being a bit of a perfectionist and any tiny scratch or comment I have raised has been swiftly dealt with – could not ask for more and would recommend without hesitation.
