Westshore Engineering is an exceptional company that turned our house extension dream into a viable solution. The customer service was excellent, and they went above and beyond to help us deal with several problems we experienced during the construction phase and provided programmatic solutions rapidly. There are very experienced structural engineers, as I am an engineer myself; therefore, I was confident in their structural calculations and design approach. I would 100% recommend this firm. Again, thank you, Paulo and the rest of the team.

We worked with Irene at WestShore for our party wall process (as well as for structural engineering assessment). It was a bit complicated, as one of our neighbours resides in the US, but Irene was patient and very diligent in following up and securing us positive consent letter from both neighbours. We are really appreciative for the time and effort she put it! Would strongly recommend working with Irene!

Don’t be fooled by the good reviews, this company offered us their architectural services for drawing up plans. Westshore knew of our time constraints but didn’t stick to the timeframe given by them and the plans that were provided were poorly designed (this became apparent when we started to get contractors over to quote). There was no initial meeting offered to discuss our requirements and our requirements were not met. I’m addition to this and more worryingly is that we were offered a service by someone who described themselves as an architect but who wasn’t actually registered (which is a legal requirement in the UK). An investigation officer at the Architects Registration Board had to actually contact Westshore and ask them to remove the false information where they had claimed their employee was an architect.We have been left with a set of unusable plans and thousands of pounds out of pocket.A formal complaint was made to the company but the directors clearly only care about money making and not the service provided. Stay away and use another company!

WestShore Engineering were brilliant dealing with the structural drawings of my renovation and extension project. It was a strange topology but they came up with an innovative way to make it work. They were responsive on their communication and super friendly too. They were also very quick to work.I also did my party wall agreement with them and again exceeded my expectations. Would definitely work with them again.

WestShore prepared a set of structural drawings for our renovation project. They were excellent - delivered the drawings on time and communicated very well with our architect. Highly recommend.

Worked within the timelines set out, responded with queries very quickly. Their drawings appear to comprehensive, because no builders really queried anything. They also said they were contactable if any issues arose whilst building.

I had a disappointing experience with the party wall team. They did not look out for my interests and leverage any expertise to ensure everything was considered. Very significant points on the process were completely ignored and left me with a sub-optimal agreement which cost me several thousand pounds extra unexpected to deal with in building. This is all despite fact it was a very simple boundary problem and it ended up taking a lot longer than expected. I did have fine experience with the structural engineers. But i've spoken to someone who has worked with them on many other projects who said they are also not happy with their service and are going to stop working with them.So would not recommend at all!
