Smiles Community Coffee Shop
A cafe with a purpose.Everyone welcome, a safe place, a comfortable place , a social place or a place for a quite corner to sit in peace. There's a lot going on here for the good of the community and those in need, all is offerd by a donation of what you can afford, although there is set prices you can pay what you can afford, pay a little more if you want, or not at all if you can't and donations are most welcome. It seems no-one is turned away and support is always offerd. They also dish up 800 hot meals a week to those indeed being organised by 60 odd volunteers all for the good of the community.Even if your not in need I highly recommend grabbing a cake and coffee, ice cream, slushy, cold drinks soup etc amd support something grrst rather then a chain or corporate money making machine.Good work to all the volunteers and thank you for making the community a better place

Such a good cause and the staff really friendly and appreciative. I only popped in to give a donation and they so busy with the retro festival on but they still asked me to stay for a cuppa. Which was lovely.
