Kinza Makeup Academy

Makeup and hair was awful. She backcombed my hair so much it looked too puffy. I asked for a nice plait but got this instead, was in a rush so there was no time to sort it unfortunately. Would not recommend coming here!

We were supposed to get our makeup done by Ms Kinza herself. Having confirmed it with her three times, we were disappointed to see she didn't turn up, instead sending a substitute, without even informing us. When questioned about it instead of apologising and explaining, she went on a wild rant about discrimination. Totally unprofessional and lacking in any sort of customer service skills. Stay away.

We used Kinza for a family wedding for 2 days. The service was outstanding and the end look was exceptional. All the girls (Sidra, Amber and Uzma) took their time doing our hair and makeup and did not rush us at all. We received MANY compliments and I was so happy with my look. The staff were so humble and down to earth. I will definitely be returning for the next occasion!Thank you once again to Kinza and the team

DISGUSTING! Came here for party hair and makeup. I suffer from hair loss due to illness and the lady doing my hair kept commenting on how thin my hair was, making a huge deal of it and talking really loud about it like she wanted to embarrass me. I even told her before she started I have lost a lot of hair due to illness. 0 empathy or tact. Literally vile.

I booked Sidra for bridal hair and make up for my wedding this summer 2022.Make up was lush, she really is very talented at make up, credit where its due but a few things that weren't delivered that i requested is i did ask to be bronzed up and abit more contoured but all i got was blush, also my brows were not filled in therefore looked so grey even though i asked several times - the worst part was until I cried and all my mascara was all over my face!! expected the mascara to have been waterproof for BRIDAL :@. everyone had a shock of their life when they saw me to see how much the mascara had smothered all over my face.The lashes were not the best as they were too long, unfortunately there was no alternative so I would advise to maybe have some of your own as back up.I have to say the dupatta setting for a bride was terrible! it all came apart before I even got to the venue, safety pins were NOT used instead scarf pins which did not keep the scarf secure round my hands nor on my shoulder, this literally came to light when it was all coming undone, the pleats and draping was all over the place, it really was so disappointing as you'd have thought she would know better and use safety pins. Bridal hair was also VERYYYY disappointing, far from how I wanted it. It was far too late for her to be able to fix this, it was completely the opposite to what i wanted, its like she wasn't understanding what i wanted even though i referenced photographs.Over all the make up was beautiful, it WASNT exactly what i wanted nor waterproof as advised but it looked nice she was lovely and letting you do your lip liner yourself etc.If it wasn’t for the dupatta setting, hair and mascara not being water proof would have got more stars.

Alittle disappointed with the overall experience a special day for my daughter and I had to rectify makeup ect. Called and spoken to someone who was very helpful and prompt in resolving the matter. Although it's took sometime in getting a partial refund .

Felt amazing on all 3 events but have to say uzma definitely stood out for me! Listened to exactly what I wanted with makeup and is an absolute talent when it comes to hair. Can’t recommend her enough! All the staff was so friendly and kind and understand how important it was to make you feel your best.
