I have been supporting this charity on and off for 6 years and adopted a pug from them in 2019. I have always believed in the ethos of the charity, their work to rescue dogs and educate the public about the breed, the idiosyncrasies and the care. After adoption there is significant support available from the MuffinPug community to anyone that asks.If you read all the reviews you will see that the charity has had it’s difficulties with the past management but that is NOT the charity as it exists today. The new trustees have worked very hard to rectify the problems they inherited, they were significant but they have implemented transparent processes and policies and the charity has a clean bill of health with the charity commission.If you are looking for a pug charity to support or to help you with surrender or adoption. Then you can trust MuffinPug Rescue.

An amazing group of people dedicated to rescuing pugs from appalling situations to dogs that needed rehoming due owners ill health and more. We have two MuffinPugs, both came from different backgrounds and the members are always on hand to help.

We rescued our first pug 5 years ago. The process was easy and the home check thorough for both us and the dog. The rescue have rules they request you follow and this is to ensure both the dog and you are supported and the settling period is meeting the dogs needs as well as yours and your families . The support and advice we received from Muffin pug was incredible and got us through the worries of our first rescue.We have since rescued 3 more pugs and helped foster several more. Muffin pug have always been supportive offering advice and help as needed.The rescue has organised vet appointments when we have had a couple of emergencies and respond quickly when support was needed. Muffin pug rescue has rescued some incredible dogs with challenges and such sad stories. They try their best for every dog that is highlighted to them . Its an incredible rescue charity. Highly recommend if considering a Pug or french bulldog.

Two years ago I adopted a wonderfully bonkers French Bulldog through Muffin Pug Rescue. Thankfully, he was saved from a fate at the meat markets in China and, at 10 months old, Muffin Pug supported his move over to the UK and I was lucky to be his mum.We receive ongoing advice and support which I know is there for all his (now happy!) life. I know they are there if we have any issues or need help.I have supported with transport for little Pugs needing homes and also fostered. It's a wonderful charity to support!

Muffinpug do such amazing work and thanks to them I have adopted 3 beautiful dogs . The admin/ trustees are brilliant and work tirelessly to help find the right family for the dogs and are always on hand for advice and incredibly knowledgeable and always show how incredibly passionate they are about what they do and do their utmost for the Pugs .I have recommended and encouraged friends to foster which they have and gone on to adopt too .Muffinpug are an outstanding rescue / charity

We have been so lucky to add two Muffin Pug Rescues to our family and they are wonderful. Can't recommend this rescue highly enough for the amazing work they do!We now have four beautiful Muffin Pug Rescues and couldn't be happier. The charity has had issues but the current trustees are absolutely brilliant and work so hard to keep this rescue going and to support the dogs with special needs already in permanent foster care.You can never recover from the love of a pug, they stay in your heart forever. You won't regret it.

We have fostered and adopted with this charity and they amazing. They care soo much about their dogs and want the best for them. We now have two gorgeous pugs who we and our young children adore. I wouldn’t buy from a breeder again after finding this amazing charity.
