SERE Motors SEAT Lisburn

I'd recommend SERE Motors Lisburn to a friend because sales team were helpful, only downside I will say is I never got a free service and I've learnt that it doesn't matter when you trade in your car that even for low miles for a 12yr old car it's what the paintwork and damage is that knocks the value off your old car. But I needed to trade in my car I was keeping it until it got me through and would still have it if the exhaust wasn't going on it and just by driving it realized that even though it was serviced every year I knew it was just not going to be a normal service as parts and problems would cost more probably than what the car was worth. But Nathan and the other sales team were helpful and made you welcome and not pushy like other car dealers which was good especially taking on an expensive debt. Thanks, SERE

I have recently just purchased my 2020 White A5 Sportback. This is one of many cars I have bought from SERE Lisburn. I cannot Thank Keith Williamson and especially Big David Gaw for their unreal 5 star service. From the moment I seen the car until I picked it up it was constant contact with me. The experience at SERE Motors Lisburn was good because the staff are very welcoming. They are very knowledgeable. They organised my service for a time that suited me, and transported me back home, and back to the dealership when I left my car in, and to let me pick it up afterwards. I have been a customer for over 20 years, buy all my cars there, and have never had a problem with any of the staff or services provided.

I had a great experience at SERE Motors Lisburn because the sales person, Darren, was very helpful, the price was fair and the condition of the vehicle was excellent. In fairness, he was knowledgeable about VRT too and bringing a car South. Well organised.

The experience at SERE Lisburn was great because the sales representative Dave was a joy from beginning to end. I knew exactly which car I wanted to purchase, but every question and request I had was dealt with very quickly. This shows that even socially distanced handovers can be great experience for the buyer. Thanks so much for making all the small things that are important to me, also important to you.... Wouldn't ever buy another car here!After 10 years of loyal custom and 5 cars, I would now never return. My family have probably bought a total of a dozen cars in the same amount of time. Until latley we would have all recommend this dealer and always returned to buy cars and always had our cars serviced here. Now none of us will ever return. My parents have had ongoing and unresolved issues with an arona then bought brand new.My partner and I both left our cars in for their first service since we had them little over a year ago. Both cars are around 4 years old. I have put probably 12000 miles on the car and my partner has put only 6000 miles on her car. SERE have now told us that I need new brake discs and pads at the front and new pads at the back, 2 new tyres and a rear wind shield wiper totaling just over £800.00. My partner needs a new tyre and new brake discs and pads at the rear totalling nearly £400.00.Now this morning I go to start my car and it starts pouting out petrol. They tell me now it needs new seals and this would cost nearly £180.00!In total they want us to spend nearly & £1400.00 on two cars that we have added such low millage to, but deny that all this would have needed done when they sold the cars.I actually had the cars looked at independently on Friday afternoon after we picked them up (before my seals went this morning). And was told that I only need 2 new pads and the two tyres do need done. And my partners car needs 2 new pads. In total less than £400.00In the interest of fairness, my car was collected this morning and a courtesy car left off (but I would expect this). I was offered 50% off the labour fee for changing the seals (but the labour cost was £108.00 an hour for a small simple job). I wonder how much the mechanic gets paid? I doubt it's even near half of that an hour. Unfortunately as my car won't drive I was left little choice but to pay to have it done after being told it wasn't covered by the extended warrenty. Considering how little miles I have done in the car, as well as the amount of money I have spent here, you would think they would just swallow the cost. Instead for the sake of £100.00 they will now definitely lose all of my future custom and instead of singing their praises I will be warning people off them.You buy cars of big well known companies thinking you are paying the higher price for quality, reliability and the security of knowing that they will stand over the car. But I might as well have bought a car of a random small car dealer, it would have cost a lot less and probably would have had better service, I mean I couldn't have had a worse service experience.When I trade cars into this garage and they start taking money off the top value for things like new tyres the car will need to be sold etc.... It's another scheme, because clearly they don't actually put new tyres on or check anything before they sell it to you.Sadly I will never buy another car from this company, nor will anyone in my family. I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company. In fact, I would strongly discourage someone from going here after the after sales service I have recieved.I wish I could give 0 stars.

The staff at SERE Motors Lisburn were good because they listened to what we needed, they were efficient and offered a great service (e.g. delivery of the car to our home)
