The Apple Farm Glamping and Camping
Quirky, quiet campsite.A booking mishap saw us camping in the orchard which was a little cosy but we were very thankful for the gazebo it gave us access to when it rained! The campsite is basic but has everything you need. A friendly owner, a couple of loos and a washing up sink in an old caravan and 2 warm showers with lots of room to get changed. It is off grid, so there are some little lights in the loos/showers but I'd recommend packing a lantern. There is a little honesty shop with farm fresh eggs, apple juice, meat and cider as well as firewood for sale.It was very chilled, probably the quietest campsite we've been to.

Lovely quiet farm, last minute stay and owner very accommodating. Easy to book online and reasonable. The camping pitches slightly sloping but fine if position van/tent, loved that the pitches were mown but the rest of the field was left long, saw barn owl in the evening. Pigs, sheep, apple juice to buy. Fridge freezer for campers to use. Huge farm shop next door. Felt bit sorry for the sheep they seemed really really hungry when we fed them some grass. Loved the feel of the place would def go back if in area. Would prefer compost loos to the portaloos!

Absolutely amazing 1 night stay at The Apple Farm. The EPITOME of TRANQUILITY! We only spent one night as this was all we could do, but me, my partner and our dog, Clover absolutely loved it. Beautiful scenery, beautiful accommodation, we stayed in one of the bell tents, golden delicious to be precise, and everything was clean, tidy, and you had everything you needed to stay there. The only thing we needed to take with us was our personal items, snacks, and we took our own pots and pans but there are spares at the Farm! We never used the showers but we had a peek and they are very clean, the cabin where the shared bathrooms are is also very homely and cosy, as well as the tents!Lots of exploring to do, and it was nice being able to feed, and pet, the pigs and small sheep close by to the tents. Clover especially loved greeting the animals on the farm, they kept chasing her around and coming towards her, she even got to give one a kiss!We ordered a luxury breakfast hamper for the following morning and my word was it delicious! Fresh bacon, eggs, sausages, tomatoes and mushrooms, with fresh bread and apple juice, along with a small carton or milk. Every single bit of it was delicious and clearly fresh! We also borrowed a book from the shop, which was a very nice touch!Beautiful place, and a lovely stay, we wish we’d stayed longer! The only downside was the fact that it rained all evening and through to the next morning, but this of course is no fault of anyone’s but the sky it’s self lol.Charlotte was very quick at responding to any questions we had and was extremely helpful as and when needed. We will definitely be returning soon, when we can (almost) guarantee better weather as this will give us more a chance to explain, and potentially go on a nearby hike. The rain stopped us doing much because we didn’t take any weather-suitable footwear or clothing, as we weren’t expecting the weather to turn, but it was an amazing night nonetheless. The beds were comfy, the tent spacious, plenty of blankets if needed, and the lanterns inside were handy, as someone who is afraid of the dark! No noise at night expect for wildlife, the rain on the tent was exemplary too!We will be back VERY soon, if you’re contemplating staying here, think no more, just DO IT, such a beautiful nights stay, enjoyed by both human and dog!Thank you Charlotte!

Such a lovely quiet small orchard. With amazing charm and character. Only a few plots so it's not busy. Lovely to wander around and see the orchards, the farm shop etc. Such a wonderful experience. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely fantastic site. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Ground was relatively flat, water was hot, location was great to most places.Charlotte was very responsive and accommodating.Despite the awful rain on one evening, we still enjoyed ourselves and Charlotte allowed us to use the poly tunnel so we could still get together and stay dry.The showers were lovely and warm and having hot water to wash up was just luxury!Pitches were large enough to fit 4 2/3 person tent comfortably with plenty of room to park the car on the pitch also.Must do’s: wander to the farm shop and feed the sheepDefinitely a site to return toThank you Charlotte and the team

Recently spent time camping here, beautiful well kept meadow with plenty of space and privacy, excellent refuse system, much better than other sites I've used. Toilets/showers and a kitchenette very close by to use, all clean and like previous comments quirky, the site on the farm was lovely, lovely walks surrounding and beautiful farm with animals and farm shop, had a 20 minute walk to the village to the local pub. How the site is made up is just amazing, peaceful, beautiful, quiet and we are looking to re book now for Sept for a few nightsWould definitely recommend

Stunning place. Couldn't ask for a better last minute getaway. What I enjoyed the most about it? Waking up early, drinking a coffee, walking through the orchard quietly and seing the ray of light passing through the trees. Oh, and eating wild blackberries. Yummy! We were surrounded by cows, sheep and pigs. Both adults and children had fun.

Easy and friendly communication, beautiful camping site, very clean toilets and showers. We slept on the camping but put our tent up a bit too close to the rpas so at night we could hear the highway otherwise everything was really nice :)
