C&I Recovery

Colin was my hero last night and saved me from the side of a country road when I was all by myself and took me 50 miles back home. He was extremely professional and friendly and I felt very much at ease under his care. Colin puts his customer’s needs at the fore front of his work and works extremely hard day in day out. Couldn’t be more grateful. Thanks again Colin!

Colin came to my rescue after I made the mistake of trying to turn my fwd van around at the end of a narrow overcrowded lane, and promptly got myself stuck in a muddy rut. At any point he could have called to tell me he wouldnt get his truck down that same lane, and yet he continued onwards to make sure we were pulled back onto the tarmac before starting his slow and tricky reverse all the way back to main roads. He offered advice on avoiding the same situation again, and on how to better recover the van myself with the right equipment if and when I do end up stuck in the mud in future.Following the rescue, he also reccomended a great stopover location for the night, one Ill be sure to return to in the future. Couldnt reccomend Colin enough. Really got us out of a tricky spot even at risk of getting his own truck stuck!

Great service. We broke down 160+ miles from home and Colin had an 8+ hour return trip to get us back to Norfolk from Yorkshire. Great service, would highly recommend if you need recovery.

Fantastic service and a lovely guy, we met Colin when he originally came out after calling our breakdown company. After helping us out and thinking the problem was resolved we carried on our journey. A few hours later we broke down again and Colin came out off his own back to recover us back to our campsite.After checking the car over briefly he kindly recommended a great garage who sorted out all the issues we had.If not for Colin we wouldn't of been able to make the 5 hour journey home towing our caravan.Thanks again Colin!

Stranded in Scarborough, Colin offered a good price compared to most recovery and yet colin and Ken gave a professional service and went out their way to make sure we were sorted. I'm not surprised C&I is well regarded. Top service!

Highly recommend Colin we breakdown on a busy road about in Scarborough, with 2 kids in the car and we rang Colin who came to help us within 30 minutes and tow us back to Chesterfield which is 100 miles away, Colin was really helpful and friendly and put us at ease after a stressful morning and his professionalism was excellent and he has a excellent sense of humour and made us feel welcome from the moment we met him. I can highly recommend Colin from C&I Recovery.Me and my family broke down whist on holiday in Filey.Colin was utterly professional from the moment I called his service. We established the battery in my car needed changing. He ordered this and had my car running within hours. Colin even filled my screen wash, and fixed the cap back on the drivers side door which came off as I had the manually open the door. All for an incredible price.He is an old school gentleman who goes over and beyond to help you. His van and tools are spotlessly clean. His standards are incredibly high. A refreshing change these days. He even phoned the next day to ensure the car was running properly.

We broke down in Robin hoods bay after a family day out. Colin came quickly and took us home to Sunderland. He was really lovely and took good care of us and our car. Would highly recommend this company. Thank you for coming to our rescue!
