Took a couple items in to possibly sell. Was told that one of the fob watches did not work because of overwinding and was only worth scrap silver value- took watch home instead and found it was working perfectly. Also offered scrap value of £40 for a silver piece we took in - declined this - when we weighed it at home silver scrap value based on current silver prices should have been £84.79. Very dishonest.

Such an amazing place, that I'm sure a lot of people just walk past. I implore everyone to experience what this shop has to sell, plus the hundreds of antique items they have for sale. I went in with my Mum the other day, and I bought her a beautiful diamante brooch in the shape of a leaf/fern. Don't let the word 'antique' put you off either, there are so many items that are affordable by everyone here. I will definitely be back.
