It's an Aladdin's cave an old fashion little local shop but has every thing you could want for DIY,you can buy 2 screws if you want, the elderly man that served me was a delight and so helpful, the screws I wanted where too long so her shorten them for me, you would not get this service at a large store

Great shop my grandad been using it for years and iv been using him they go out there way to help if they do not have wot you need they will order it in..They give you advice also do plants let food key cutting knife axes sharping locks pad lock tools grate shop all together

Wonderful family shop. An Alladin’s cave of DIY items and more. Family run (I think) - the staff are so helpful. I always try and visit this place instead of B&Q and Homebase. They are almost always able to help me out. Prices are great too!

In the 20 years I've been using Reads he always has what I'm looking for no matter how strange! Very knowledgeable and helpful too.Its nice to be able to buy the quantity you need rather than 1000s like the main diy stores seem to sell.
