What a fantastic place in a quiet spot nearby to Shortlanesend.Lots of parking and free to enter (donations accepted).Beautifully landscaped with many ponds full of water lilies. Lovely to stroll round and there is also a woodland walk.There is a cafe and restaurant on site but need to check opening times.

Penrose Water Gardens
Have just visited, very nice gardens, will be lovely when lilies are fully out. Quite extensive if you have time to walk in the woods too. Note that while there is a fine dining restaurant for the evening, there is currently no cafe. Great place to bring a picnic though. Suggested website address just leads to online garden supplies, so this needs clarification.
