Great car service. Took a cab to and from Gatwick airport (south Terminal outbound and north terminal inbound) pre-booked the outbound 5 hours before the driver called me as they were arriving and met me at my pick up location. Helped us to load up the car and on the return called once we were at the baggage hall and they came quickly and were so helpful and polite and friendly.Highly recommended. Cheaper than cab apps. Drivers instantly available.

called another service as I was tolt the next available car takes 20 minutes. turns out that the other company was able to send someone within 5 minutes for even less money. I am aware that waiting time depends on availability however you would assume that the price is roughly the same for local taxi companies.info: ride takes 10min to the train station

Terrible service, always running late, prices fluctuating each morning so never know how much fare is. Drivers go long way round on purpose as it’s a meter cab. Operators have poor customer service and only no the word sorry! No explanation of why running late, told lies of how long the taxi is running late by. Do not use this company

Good communication from the office, less good from the driver who also left it to us to open the boot to put our luggage in. He did not get out of the car to help either at pick up or drop off. The first time this has happened in years of taking taxis (we always tip for their assistance).

We missed the last train whilst in Horsham last night and felt stranded! We phoned Western Cars and they despatched a driver to collect us straight away, we were so relieved. The communication was amazing and we were advised of when our taxi arrived and the reg plate. The driver was very friendly and made sure we were in the front door before he left. We were quoted a fixed rate which didn't change. Great experience and will save their number for when we need a taxi again.

Avoid at all costs. I booked a cab and it didnt turn up, so I missed an important appointment. When I called to check where they were they didn’t have any record of the booking. Very worrying if you have a flight to catch!

Brilliant service. I pre-booked taxi the night before and it arrived the next morning on time and I was able to track its arrival. Taxi was a lovely Mercedes E-Class and our driver was friendly and helped us with our luggage. Have used Western Cars before and will continue to do so

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI COMPANY. Pre booked a cab for the next day, I hadn’t received a dispatch text and when I called them at the arrival time they hadn’t even dispatched a taxi and said they had a shortage of drivers which is simply not good enough when you have a train to catch. The lady then kept saying we should be able to dispatch one in the next 5-10 minutes which was not reassuring. What’s the point of having a pre booking system if you can’t even send drivers on time or even call ahead of the booking to say you can’t do the booking. Unreliable company, will not be using them again. Taxi ended up arriving 15 minutes later but by this point it was too late

Prompt and responsive! Were able to pick me up when my car was out of action and didn't keep me waiting long at all. Very reliable. Very happy.

In the past I’ve always used metro. Based on my trip today, a airport pick up at 04.45am. Driver was early. I felt safe as a female single traveller and friendly service. Horley to south terminal
