A lovely pub at Sutton Coldfield near Birmingham. The decor is good. Food is very nice and well prepared. Good choicesc of drinks. Lots of parking space is available. Outside sitting also available. Recommended

Have been a customer here for over 20 years.they have had their problems over the last year or so…. But I have to say last nights dinner was the BEST food I have ever eaten here, by a clear mile!! It was a really lovely visit I have not been for a few years, and booked a lunch for my daughts birthday. Our cocktails were excellent normally you find places water them down but they were a great standard. The food was also good, we saw it slow with visitors and then pick up through our visit. We didn't have to wait too long for our meals. I would recommend it.

Brilliant 'spur of the moment' decision to go out for dinner. Welcome was warm and friendly, table prepared and menus ready. Orders taken and food delivered very quickly. Service was attentive but not pushy (which I like) and main courses delivered quickly as well. Food was fabulous, remained hot (on hot plates) and was delicious. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely come back.

Decided to come here with my family for a Sunday roast after reading good reviews. The staff managed to squeeze us in at short notice in the bar service area as the restaurant was full. The roast dinners were cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up. Furthermore, the gravy came out a good 10 minutes after the dinners. My gran could not eat her beef as it was not cooked enough. The portion was a really decent size but it was disappointing that the meals were not warm and came out at all different times. There were also many flies by our table. The fish and chips was a great portion which my Grampa really enjoyed

It was pretty busy when we arrived so I would very much recommend booking a table in advance if you can. There seemed to be a fair few young families in too.As it was a Sunday a good half of the menu was dedicated to roast dinners and we opted for the half chicken option. It was honestly one of the best roasts I've had in a pub, good crispy potatoes, giant Yorkshire pud, bread sauce, a (rather small but delicious) pig in blanket and unlimited gravy (which we very much enjoyed!). We asked if we could have a short interval between courses and the staff were happy to oblige before we then had the chocolate bomb. It was very decadent (probably a bit too much toffee sauce) but very delicious. Good flavours and a good size portion.

Great for summer drinks after work. Lovely secluded setting and had a nice vibe outside until they turn the speakers on.I haven’t sat inside for a meal but pizza outside is decent.The dough was ok, it was a little devoid of any real taste but it was tasty enough that it beats any out of the box oven pizza.

A quaint pub in the sticks north of Minworth. Ample parking. Good service overall and was friendly. Excellent food. No issues and would recommend and revisit.The restaurant was decorated very nice. The mains and dessert were nice and the quantity was enough. The desserts could have been served warmer. When we got the bill, we were given another tables bill, which was corrected after.Overall I would rate this experience a 8.5 out of 10.

Nice pub with good outdoor seating and also nicely done inside. Massive car park and food was good. Had a decent choice of menu. Service was good had some issues with online ordering but can order from the bar if needed.

Really disappointed with this onePlace looks great from outside and the smell of food filled the air. This made me excited to get in and stuff my face.Had the prawn starter that was deliciousFillet steak sandwich was really bland steak clearly not seasoned and I’m not convinced that this wasn’t heated in a microwavedThe brownie was nice also but the crumble tasted like it was old and reheatedThe venue itself had a great feel to it. It looks great in there. Just don’t look around to much. See attached pic.The issue I had being 6,1 was the table we were at had a hanging light that I hit my head quite hard on. My fault for not really thinking about it to much but still could cause someone serious injury.So disappointing visit and the cleanliness needs looking at
