Very Good Parts Deparment but only Grease/ Oils/ Batteries etc.Think Machines need much more Quality and Longevity building in !- not the best reputation at the mo sad to say.Would like to buy British but cant afford Downtime or poor design leading to expensive repairs

It’s the last straw for me buying a new machine from Jcb, unfortunately I cannot trust what they diagnose when you have a machine in for repair, my reasons are1)I’ve been told my 2 year old mini excavator 8020 needed a new wiring loom at a cost of £3,000 when all that it needed was the key programming.2) The excavator fan belt broke once, I rang jcb to ask the size because the belt was totally disintegrated, they refused to give any size information unless I bought from them, I was 100 mile round trip to buy from jcb when a belt supplier was 3 mile away. This was a kick in the teeth to me when I buy machine from jcb.3) had a new aux spool valve fitted to work with a grab just before pandemic, they charged over £700 for an hours work, 170 hours later and out of 12 month warranty the valve leaks all over because it hasn’t been fitted correctly.Rang jcb and was told nothing they can do.Very disappointed with jcb. But those new Sany machines are up and coming giving 5 year warranty with 5,000 hours with very impressive savings on a new machine, drove one the other day and was impressed. paint looks to stay on too not peel away in sheets.

Nice set of chaps to deal with can't fault them.

Just had a fitter to site for a breakdown on a 220x, the awkwardness of the job was overcome by a can do attitude. Fair play to Dale and to Harrisons. Positive and capable young people are the lifeblood and future of all businesses

Staff always happy to help in parts dept. Can’t fault Alan one bit. He’s one reason why I come back to jcb for parts. I’ll be coming here when I look to get a 8026 in the future.
