Gower Pick Your Own

Went here for the first time last week and had such a lovely time!The staff were all really friendly and explained how the process worked as we had never been before. I loved how everything was at a level that my toddler was able to reach so he could join in picking the raspberries and strawberries. I couldn’t believe how big the strawberries were!Good value for money and a lovely afternoon out, will definitely be back again.

Ample amount parking available as you enter. You need to weigh your basket if you have carried or else you can buy a plastic box before entering the field. Entry is free. You can see the field but if you pick the strawberry you need pay accordingly. Its 7.75pounds per kg. Raspberry is available. But when we went it was all dried. There is a tent like seating arrangements done where we can have our strawberry. Even of it rains we are covered. There is an outdoor seating area as well. One large easy chair to sit and click pics. Not easy enough to get up once we sit. A portable toilet available which is neat and clean. A cafe where we can buy ice cream, tea, coffee and some snack. Staffs are friendly. Nice place to spend half day with kids. There is a garden area with many colorful flowers. Good view.

The one of just few PYO Farms in the area.Only Strawberries, Raspberries and Broad Beans in offer - subject to availability (check FB profile before you go).Tbh almost £8 for more of less 1kg punnet is a bit high price of what we get to compare to the market prices.Especially that you have to get there by your own transport and obviously PICK it by yourself + pay for container (if you don't bring your own). So taking consideration that this is still just working farm might feel expensive. But I can understand that we pay sort of also for experience.The quality of fruits is not the best (maybe could be better to give it more sun temporary taking of the cover during nice weather days?), but nevertheless still better than in supermarket (more sweet and with wonderful smell).Mid June and only Strawberries been on board, just to let you know. Have had been informed that Broad Beans gonna be available in first week of July.One Portable Toilet+ Food Truck on site.Place could have much bigger potential when some kind of farm shop attached to it.

Great place. lovely fruit, cakes and icecream. Rain or shine its brilliant.

This is a great locally run PYO strawberries set in the heart of Gower.The set up is great and this being my first time, the staff were really helpful.There was loads of choice with 3 tunnels open today.Highly recommended!

Visited Gower Pick Your Own for the first time today as we were in the area. Love the little basket we got and managed to pick lots of gorgeous strawberries. Looking forward to trying them this evening and will be back again soon

I was so impressed with this place. We went on a rainy,windy Sunday. The staff were lovely and there were sooo many beautiful strawberries ready to be picked,all under cover out of the weather. There were plenty of people there enjoying the undercover picnic area and cafe also.Outside was a lovely picnic area for finer days . We left our dog in the car as they aren't allowed in the tunnels but you can take them into the picnic area which is great.i will definitely be returning to pick more as the strawberries are sooo tasty ,I will definitely be having a ciffee and slice of cake too.
