Regular fish and chip shop, but has a separate vegan menu that they fry separately from non-vegan items. Includes: Quorn battered sausage, battered mushrooms, battered cauliflower, vegan strips and a number of other items. Tasty food and friendly service.

Delicious food! Fresh and tasty! Large variety of fish and seafood! Very clean and modern! Quality of food is great! Before taking pictures I eat a delicious fish so no pictures with the fish but next time promised!

My friend Zoe is coeliac and we contacted the establishment to confirm if they offered any Gluten Free products on Sunday - as advertised on their website. Note the website states GF offered every day of the week at Pentwyn. Unfortunately they ghosted us and we’ve had to go about our days not having GF fish and chips.

Food not fresh,old chips and freshly cooked chips mixed together .and not nice. When i am paying for my meal l would like it that i can eat and enjoy it. Without having to throw most of it in the bin.Anyone recommend a nice chippy

Very disappointed with tonight’s visit!! My wife drove me here after a lovely evening out, as we had lovely fish and chips from here about a year ago. I ordered the chicken curry and chips at a cost of £8.05 when I got home the curry was dry and tasted powdery, there was little chicken considering the cost and the chips were undercooked. Overall inedible, I attempted to eat but really wasn’t enjoying it at all. Will be reluctant to return.

Secret charge of a 3p bag to buy at 20p in order you can take home the food you’ve ordered??Guy came in who’s a vulnerable person had bag of chips and wanted a bag so I paid the 20p what if I hadn’t been thereCurry in a small tub, speciality fish appalling, more fish in a fish finger !!Thank god for the Victorian Fish bar

I visited at lunchtime on a Thursday. The shop was not busy. I ordered a piece of cod and cod and chips. It took 15 minutes to get and the supposed fresh cod was actually supermarket bought in batter that was not cooked properly and the chips were cold and only half cooked. This cost me £15 and was not worth it

I've worked there as Frayer before and I must say something went wrong Spiro. Your standard in comparison to top gun is downhill, dunno who is on Frayer but dude , fish is done when it floats, let it drip and check for white spots, don't over flour it , just tap it slightly shake of dip in batter let it drip of and as you put it in oil going be it a stir holding via tail part. Or next time I'll fry it myself. Kinda disappointed ☹️. Damian.

Absolutely superb quality of the fish, the battered sausages and chips. Friendly staff who make all the difference. Easily the best in the area and value for money.
