Very nice reception staff. Although unable to assist with a broken bone, they got it checked for us, and sent us off in the right direction. Thank you.

Don’t even bother ! They are absolutely hopeless ! Your prescriptions are never ready or in stock ! The staff are hopelessly slow ! Worst experience every single time. So frustrating, they just waste peoples time and lives !!! And make excuses. Everyone seems to feel the same way when you end up going to collect a prescription !

Not impressed, some of the Doctors need a serious lesson in manners, it was also quite appalling to be sat in a waiting area and hear staff calling other members of staff useless! Very unprofessional sadly.

My dad hurt his knee after he fell at the beach and twisted/jarred his knee, to the point he pretty much can't walk and it's badly swollen. Wasn't sure it's worth an A&E trip when they are so overwhelmed as it is, so tried here as open for minor injuries until 6:30pm. We arrived at 6:20pm and were told all the nurses had already gone home. Very disappointing given it was supposed to be open another 10 minutes! Appreciate we will probs need to go to A&E but was hoping maybe for crutches or strong painkillers / anti inflammatories to try and ease the pain until tomorrow when we get home to Chester as this is the last day of our holiday here.Edit: he dislocated his knee.

3 weeks to get an appointment! Not a 1 off, but a standard waiting time for an appointment! This seems to be a policy decision on behalf of practice management! Healthcare in Cockermouth is seriously lacking and needs investment. Treatment is good, but why can’t people be seen so much sooner?????

Absolutely can't thank the girls enough on the Isel Ward for looking after my uncle the past month, when you can't visit sick relatives due to the covid it's really difficult so you rely on speaking to the staff by phone, from the first day he was first admitted they have all been amazing, i've never had to wait long to speak to a nurse, the girls were always up to speed on his progress and have positive attitudes, Karen went that extra mile for my uncle on several occasions & i can't thank her enough, she an absolute angel in my eyes, i have been able to sleep at night knowing he's in good hands. It's an amazing ward i'll never forget what they have done for my uncle, he is still there now but due to leave soon. Thank you so much you are wonderful ladies doing what you do especially in these scary times. Sarah

Beautiful building howeverMy partner had a fall and saw the sign minor injuries on the big board outside.Called in, all locked up?Used the lift to try to find someone and ended up on idle ward.Spoke to a nurse in isle ward asking where is the minor injury department and she was cluelessIf a nurse doesn't know what chance does our NHS have?

Had a local anesthetic operation here. All the staff at the Dermatology Sept are lovely and very helpful. The two ladies who did my op are absolute Stars. Can't rate them high enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When calling to TRY and get a phone appointment or repeat prescription your subjected to a ridiculously long message service, then you end up in a queue. One minute your number 4 in the queue, next your number 6.And I you are fortunate to be allowed a consultation one particular receptionist has a really bad attitude. She must have looked in the mirror, and didnt like what she saw.
