Great place for bird...especially water bird watching. Good parking. It is a short walk with good wheel chair access round the lake or longer walks stetch from here in many directions.

Really lovely spot, quite alot larger than I initially thought on arrival, so was pleasantly surprised. There's lots to see and do, from cycle paths, rivers and streams, wildlife and wide open spaces. It's clean, well signposted throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable day out whether alone with the dog or out with the family.

Lovely walks, choices of a shorter one around the lake (about 30mins) or others with walks going off in all directions.

Beautiful place to walk the dog, free parking by a small lake with loads of ducks and swans, then once you have passed that, there are more lakes, woodlands, open grassland, trails that go up to Shipley Park or down to Longeaton. Looks great for starting point to cycle, or do a much longer walk. I.had a lovely evening walk with the dog, it was calm and peaceful and I definitely will be back!

A lovely walk along the old railway to where it meets the nutbrook trail, then on to shaw's bridge to see late spring in all its glory.

We've visited this lovely place many times. We moved half an hour away and still drive over there to go and feed the ducks. It's a beautiful, clean and relaxing area that I love going to after work. There's parking, bins and seating.
