A Love of Dogs

We love A love of dogs and so does our dog Jasmine, Sue is so caring and loving towards Jasmine, we treats her as if she was her own! Jasmine loves going to her, she doesn’t give me a second look when I drop her off with Sue, I would highly recommend Sue ( A love of dogs) to anyone.

Sue has such an amazing way with dogs, she’s an inspiration. I’m very careful who I trust with my three girls and I couldn’t be happier with the natural way Sue has bonded with them. They simply love her to bits. I can’t recommend A Love of Dogs enough xxxx

I highly recommend Sue Deegan at A love of dogs, she has helped enormously with our new puppy with house visits initially and puppy walking since. It's plain to see that Sue absolutely loves dogs, she has such a natural affinity with them. Sue is really friendly, reliable and trustworthy, nothing is too much trouble and I also have to say that her dog Ned was brilliant with my puppy, really patient and gentle despite being provoked by my rather boisterous rascal!A Love of Dogs by name, a love of dogs by nature - perfect!

Sue has been taking care, nevermind training my puppy from 10 weeks old. My dog is now very well behaved with other dogs as a result, walks well on and off the lead and I'm very thankful for her input. My pooch loves her just as much as anyone else in the family...

Sue has been our dog walker for over a year now, and we've absolutely chuffed with her service. She cares for our dog as if it was her own!Sue only takes small groups out that she knows will get on and be harmonious together, taking into account dogs by who will be good for each other - that tailored socialization aspect has been amazing for our dog, and some of the others I've heard! I know Sue has helped one dog gain confidence and to occassionally play off the lead, and another dog to be much more social with other dogs - he even puts his ball down sometimes!Sue is the third dog walker we've tried, and we've been blown away by her professionalism and skill. I cannot recommend her services enough.

We feel SOOOO lucky to have found Sue. Before she took on our dog for hourly walks she came to the house, met him and got to know him. Sue asked loads of questions about him and took care to match him to suitable companions for him to walk, play and make friends with.We were reassured by the fact that she doesn't walk large groups of dogs and simply hope for the best".Her vetting procedure ensured she knew our dog and we knew her before their first walk together. Sue is brilliant. She has looked after my pup since it was 10 weeks old. She is not only adored by my dog but each and every dog she looks after. She walks each dog based on it's abilities and only lets them off their lead when they have excellent recall back to her. The older dogs have been brilliant in helping train my little one who just happily follows them back. Sue is quite unlike many dog walkers as she only also walks very few dogs at any one time and even has been known to take them for longer walks and charge no extra money. She spends such time and care with her charges as if each and every one was her own pampered pooch. Indeed when I am walking my own dog we often bump into Sue and are delighted to see her and join her for a walk and every dog she has with her is a delight. Sometimes I think my pup prefers going out with Sue as she is even super excited if she sees her van.

Sue has been looking after Molly now for nearly 2 years and I absolutely can not recommend her enough or trust anyone else to look after my little fur baby as much as she does. Sue really has become part of the family, she takes Molly out daily and sends me regular picture updates of what she has been doing that day- it really does put my mind at ease knowing she is in safe hands but also she is having lots of fun with her doggy pals! Sue has great knowledge about the dogs she is looking after and takes the time to understand what groups are best for dog walks, this is really reassuring. If I could give Sue more stars I really would, if you are looking for a dogwalker in Harrogate then A Love of Dogs has to be your first choice.

Sue from A Love of Dogs has been walking my Springer Spaniel Pedro for 6 months now and I would recommend without hesitation. Being a Springer Pedro needs lots of exercise and stimulation, Sue goes beyond what is expected to achieve this. Pedro gets taken to different places every weekday and gets taken on exciting walks, I get to see this from the photos that Sue sends me after each walk. Sue is also a great source of information on all things dogs, I've text her multiple times asking for advice and she is always more than happy to help, she really knows her stuff!
