Creative Space Design & Build

When embarking on our loft conversion we were really keen to find a building company that would not only produce a top quality finish but be open, communicative and consult us when decisions needed making. From the outset Luke and his team spoke our language. He knew the type of loft we were looking for, listened to and worked with our consultant architect and there was no fuss when variations were made to drawings. When the build started we were delighted to see that a WhatsApp group was made between us, the build team and project manager. Stello and his team were considerate, quick and efficient and really produced an outstanding finish - despite a bit of disruption towards the end due to a the arrival of a new addition to our family. We’ve had so many compliments on the loft and are so glad we chose Creative Spaces. We’d definitely recommend them!

We used Luke and the Creative Spaces team for a loft conversion in 2015 and would highly recommend. The whole job was finished to a very high standard and in under 8 weeks. Luke made sure the whole process from the start was clear, transparent and hassle free. Any issues were swiftly dealt with and Luke or one of the team were always available to discuss the work as it happened. The build team were polite, respectful and hardworking. Would definitely use again.

Creative Space are simply fantastic and i would highly recommend them to anybody who is looking to convert their loft.I was heavily pregnant when we gave them the job, we had exactly 8 weeks to do the job and they completed on time and within budget. I went into labour the evening the scaffolding came down!I found the whole team incredibly professional and understanding of our needs. Their quality of work is second to none too.

My husband and I used Creative Space to complete a rear dormer loft conversion and a refurb of the first floor. We did a lot of research into which company to use and Luke definitely stood out from the crowd - he was honest about what could be achieved and the pricing was clear from the start and seems competitive from our experience. We had a build team led by Alin who was really excellent and we were consulted every step of the way. The standard of the work that has been completed is very high and I would absolutely recommend Creative Space to anyone who is thinking about extending their existing home.

We absolutely love our loft extension built by creative spaces. Really recommend these guys!From the start, I was very impressed with Luke’s organised excel spread sheet to give us an immediate basic quote on the day he first visited (other companies took 2 weeks to send a quote). The price was reasonable and Luke really listened to my queries and had so many useful suggestions for the project. He was also available to contact throughout the build.We had the drawings done quickly and the build team carried out the job over the following 10 weeks. The builders were polite, tidy and most importantly had great attention to detail which I appreciate with an eye for these things. The decorating and tiling was particularly neat!

We used Creative Space design for our loft conversion and are extremely happy with the results. They have been a pleasure to deal with, which during Covid is very impressive indeed and a credit to the team that work for them. The initial consultation meeting with Luke was refreshingly open and collaborative and our project manager Stello was available throughout the whole build and was very quick at responding to queries. When there were any issues, they were dealt with very promptly and took away a lot of the stress that we have experienced in the past with building works. The standard of finish was to a very high standard and I would gladly recommend them to my family and friends in the future.

We chanced upon Creative Spaces while visiting a fair in Crystal Palace. We’re delighted we did, as their design and build of our extension in Nunhead was excellent. We were keen to get moving as our old extension was a poorly conceived mess. Luke came to the first site visit and gave us confidence as well as some very useful and impartial advice, before we had even given him the job. And the quote he later offered was the best price considering the service they were offering.Luke was always a very good communicator and quick to rectify any concerns. The design phase was efficient too, and the options were clearly explained and well thought out. They planned it so well, such that, despite much of the build happening during winter, we benefitted from minimal disruption and discomfort. They built temporary walls to keep dust out of the rest of the house, and each stage was perfectly ordered so we never felt the house was “a complete building site”.This leads me onto the build team – Luke had put together an excellent team. Never have I worked with such respectful, decent and hard-working people. They were quick to rectify any issues, and their standards were top notch. They did a great job of building us a temporary kitchen and were also very considerate and polite to our neighbours. All in all, I can strongly recommend them.

The team at Creative Space did an amazing job on our loft conversion - would use them again any time.The project was managed efficiently throughout, Luke and Philip were personally involved at every stage and spent a lot of time ensuring that we understood the schedule, things like building inspections, the budget/ payment schedule and who would be in our house on a daily basis. They even dealt with slightly difficult neighbours who had questions over party wall agreements with grace and good humor!The work was carried out to a very high standard and they had no problem dealing with any (minor) snagging list items quickly.Taking on big building projects can be daunting and stressful but Creative Spaces were a fantastic choice and made the whole thing easy. The loft conversion completed for us was finished in under 7 weeks with no issues at all.
