We had three doors fitted earlier this year and quality and service was excellent! We were struggling to find somewhere that could supply and fit our doors (one of our doorways is exceptionally narrow so we needed a door that could be cut to size but we also wanted a glass panelled door to allow light through which was tricky to find as most glass panelled doors have cutting restrictions in that you can only take so much off). They were understanding to our needs and were able to supply us three beautiful doors and a fitting service which turned out to be excellent. We also had lovely handles and a lock fitted on the doors. The doors look wonderful and we will use them again for sure. I can highly receommend them. Thank you guys, they look beautiful! Advise you to use this company with HUGE caution.Should’ve read these reviews before paying out £2500 for a new external wooden door in October 2022. Door supplied is of poor quality & when first delivered was badly finished, uneven surface, which was pointed out at time of fitting. Mark said “I’ll rub it down it’ll be fine”. Door furniture supplied has already started to corrode as well. Very quick to take your money & nobody coming back with any solutions after leaving emails, phone calls, messages and in person visits to the shop - awful aftercare service. We are now having a solid hardwood door (instead of the veneered finish) made to order by a carpenter (& it’s cheaper including the fitting). Very expensive mistake using this company, who say they are selling quality products! It seems, on investigation, there was a 300% mark up on the actual door having found out the supplier.Shame, as we like to support local tradespeople.We had to select one star to post this message.

The Door Company Bromley have recently replaced my double glazed UPVC front door & side panel with a hard wood door with full length glass & side panel split in 2 to accommodate a letter box. All 3 glass panels have art nouveau style stained glass designs with leaded lights. This is in keeping with the house which although built in the 1980's is in the Arts & Craft style popular between the end of the 19th century & WW1. The work was carried out professionally to a high standard & the door closes with a satisfying clunk.The big selling point of using The Door Co. is that they charged me half as much as one of the well known double glazing companies would have done for similar work, I know this from a previous quote. This saved me several thousand pounds - its a no brainer!Although the woodwork was left unpainted/stained, this was fine as am perfectly capable of doing this. Will give me the satisfaction of knowing I will contribute to finished product. As the Door Co. had 1 fitter/joiner, the work was spread over a couple of days rather than just 1 day which was again no problem. I spent some of this time doing much needed gardening work to bring it up to a good standard.Finally it is nice to support a local family run business like Marks, because he in turn can spend money in the borough helping other firms & so it goes on.

Advised doors would be finished, and was charged, but when doors came they were unfinished. Did not offer a refund or finish the doors.

I have had my front door supplied and fitted through the door company. Mark done and amazing job and gave a whole new look to my house. I’m so happy and the price was reasonable which made it even better! It’s a lovely family business and they were very friendly. Rachel in the shop gave the best advice and helped us select. They really go above and beyond! Recommend them highly!!!!

I am very disappointed with the quality of both the service and products received by The Door Company in Bromley.The problems we experienced are as follows:1. The customer experience is poor- they are very difficult to contact and rarely respond to calls or enquiries.2. The quality and installation of the door and windows we purchased has been substandard. The job was incomplete, ran late beyond schedule and was done in a sloppy and unacceptable manner.3. The after care is non existent- we had to install our letter box ourselves as they failed to return to complete the job!4. After two months of using our front door, the lock jammed and we were forced to pay to have this changed by an independent locksmith; The Bromley Door Company refused to accept responsibility.I very much regret using them and would not recommend their service at all. The fact that there are very few on line reviews and their absence on sites such as 'Trust A Trader' should have been a red flag warning to us- don't make the same mistake we made!

Doors are awful and service worse. I do not recommend this door company and very much regret having used them.

Zero stars for this business. The doors they supplied failed within 6 weeks of installation. The wood they were made from had never been treated and were only suitable for interior fitting at most although it is likely that they would fail there too.They refused any redress whatsoever instead concocted a farrago of lies to hide their fault. If you buy from these people - you have been warned.

We have recently had a new door installed and think it is excellent quality. Mark and his brother worked hard and have installed it to a high standard and at a good price. Both were very friendly, polite and diligent. They're a small, family run company, which may be why they take a little while to respond to calls at times (in the below review). We would happily recommend them.
