Didsbury Golf Club

An enjoyable round of golf and never overly crowded. Teed off at 2pm and nobody followed us so me and wife had a great 3hours. Although not too many golfers were around the wildlife was just as entertaining.The route to the course is also as entertaining. It follows the line of the canal but needs resurfacing as the undulating road is part single, part double lane which you cannot speed down as unexpected cars appear around each sharp corner.The bar is ok but as I have designed many golf clubs in my time it could do with a good redesign to take advantage of the great surrounding landscape and aspects over the greens that surround the the club. There are the usual training rooms with in-house golf pro teachers for the young golfers wanting to learn the skills we older golfers would have wanted to have access to when we first started to learn the sport/pastime.Wonderful time playing golf in the sunshine.

Lovely venue, staff very friendly and amenable.

Lovely golf course, with some variation in holes. Some of the tee shots are fantastic. The only issue being, getting there could be off putting for anyone wanting to join, who certainly don’t drive.

Had a poor winter with greens suffering due to the unprecedented rainfall but has well and truly turned the corner now. The introduction of the new head greenskeeper along with the hard work of the current staff has got the greens back to their best and the fairways are fantastic. Great value for money. Good to see it back to the standard it should be!

Enjoyed the golf had a great breakfast we got caught at the 16 in the storm and had to come in would play the course again

Excellent golf course in fantastic condition. Great for society days out⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳ food was amazing value & delicious. service was excellent.

Lovely golf course to play on. Highly recommended for beginners too. And the greens were outstanding, not a bit of moss/weed in them.
