Lorna's Larder
It was great to discover Lorna’s larder perched in its lay-by during our visit to Harris. What a selection! We had (hand-dived) scallops in a taco and a taster box which included monkfish scampi, fresh haddock, calamari and more scallops - plus great chips! Way more than we meant to have but we scoffed the lot! Seek it out if you can.

Oh boy this was delicious! We visited Lorna’s Larder twice on our trip around Lewis & Harris, the food is that good. So fresh, plenty of choice and beyond tasty. Definitely a highlight!

Really handy for the ferry in terms of location. Good menu options, with seafood, burgers, baguettes etc. We had the beef chilli nachos and the baguette with the roast of the day (lovely tender beef with just enough gravy) and enjoyed it all. Good hearty food and generous portions for a sensible price. Would happily return!

We stopped for lunch May 2023 and couldn't fault it, food was delicious, we had the Calamari, service was great , very friendly and helpful, lovely setting right on the quayside watching the boats. Will definitely visit again and can recommend

The food we had from Lorna’s was some of the best we had on our trip to the Outer Hebrides. My husband and I both had the seafood box and it was delicious! Everything cooked fresh and not greasy, my only complaint is that I live on the mainland and can’t come here every Friday! Absolutely recommend.

We stumbled upon this great little larder and are so happy that we did. We got two orders of the fish and chips and it was by far the best fish and chips we had on our entire trip through Scotland. The fish was so fresh! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic food, great menu, spoilt for choice. Lovely staff. Worth a trip if you are around the Harris area. Tarbet harbour.
