It offers room-only accommodation with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar and a restaurant. It does state that it's situated above a busy barHowever at 11.30 the music went on really loud.We were on the top floor and it still kept us awake .A big disappointmentAnd very selfish to the staying guests

My room was a single room. So it was extremely small. It had a nice view from the window but not much else. Staff were pleasant, but you rarely saw the same person twice. The Inn does not have a lounge area, so it is stay in your room or go to the Inn or bar downstairs.

The Inn at Y-Not
My second visit to the Y Not. Have been on an NC500 road trip this time with my 15 Yr old son this week and overall we both agree that this has been the best accommodation we've had. Free parking, free wi-fi, great modern clean room that included fresh coffee and maker, in the town centre and a superb friendly bar come restaurant next door. This is how it should be done.

Very good price (breakfast is included), big and nice room. Some people in the reviews complain about the pub downstairs but we were there on a Saturday night and had no problem (music till 10-11 or so)

Positives - Room large with nice bathroom. Excellent Wi-Fi. Dinner was good that we paid for separately. Check in fast and efficient.Negatives - Cups were unwashed from previous occupants. We were above one of the bar entrances and a fan went on for ages - day and night. Then cleaners arrived at 6.20am, had a chat outside (loudly) and then swilled water for ages. There was a fire door outside our door and staff clearly smoked next to it, so we kept getting cigarette smell in our room. Breakfast was not included. Parking unclear but explained once checked in.

We booked it being the last night of our trip, when we checked in we found the earliest they would do breakfast was 8am, and our ferry was leaving at 08.45am. We asked if we could have a refund on our breakfast (sorry no) we asked if we could have a reduction on an evening meal (sorry no). The room was lovely, but found them unaccomodating, which was a shame, wonder now who ate our breakfast. At least Northlink had breakfast waiting for us a soon as we got on the ferry. Don’t think we will stay again, perhaps you can see from our point of view, why not.

Excellent accommodation, great food, friendly attentive staff. The cheapest place we booked but was the best accommodation by far! Great location for town and beach. Free parking.
