There's a warm, welcoming tranquillity to this place. They follow the Teiratna Mahayana Buddhist 'school'.Everyone is welcome. On my visit I saw no children, but the gift shop has a children's book section. There's an interior lift if you find well-worn stairs problematic. There are stairs to the main door: not sure if there is an accessible entrance.

Had Amazing experience at Manchester Buddhist Centre. Tools for living class was fantastic. I had been attending online sessions but the in person sessions is something else. If you're in Manchester or anywhere in England and has interest in learning Meditation or what to know much about Buddhism then this is the place to be.

A haven of tranquility in the concrete jungle. They put on de-stress meditation and Buddhism courses. There's a well-stocked bookshop at the entrance, an alternative therapy space and a vegan restaurant in the basement. Have a peek inside, the staff are ever so friendly.

It's an incredible building with lots going on - however the first time I attended the beginners meditation there was a lot of noise and disturbance going on upstairs. It really distracted me which didn't help with relaxing. It's very popular so if you're looking for something more intimate I would probably recommend going to a smaller beginners class, maybe something local to start off with. The fee is donations only, which I think it quite nice, and perhaps why it's so popular.

Lovely building, calming environment. Took one of the classes there on a Saturday morning, highly recommend. Little shop inside sells nice things too and has a great veggie cafe underneath

I went to the lunchtime meditation class and it was a lovely experience. Class leader for the day was very friendly and did all she could to make new comers welcome and relaxed. The session itself was what a meditation session should be peaceful, restorative and calming.I'll definitely drop in again
