This was one of the worst places that I have ever worked at. One day was enough to know that it wasn't worth continuing. The work itself wasn't horrible, but some of the staff were completely rude and unable to give clear instructions in english as to what and how to do it, and then acted rude and irritated in a very unprofessional manner. This was the only place that I have worked in Scotland where I felt disrespected. One of the supervisors was constantly screaming at some other workers, and during the lunch break most workers had the expression of absolute misery and depression in their faces. If you are desperate for work they will probably take you in, as I have seen them constantly advertising job openings online and through multiple agencies, but I would strongly advise against it based on my experience. As far as getting paid minimum wage goes, there are plenty of places to work at with a much less toxic environment. I wish that I had read the other reviews before I accepted the job, there are many other people that have shared that this is the worst place they have worked at. I will definitely pay more attention to the review of previous workers in future job offers.

I stuck it out for two days, I've never worked in a production line job and I'd rather walk the streets and beg for a living. English is very much a secondary language, fish dropped on the floor a quick rinse and put in a crate. Their ethos is to keep you at your horrible work station. The coffee machine is switched on after you start this is in case you'd spend a second too long to drink it, there is nowhere to have a drink of water on the work floor again this is to keep you where you're stationed, going to the toilet involves getting changed out of your overalls and putting them back on after you use the loo, this tends to put people off going. There are no amenities for staff, being Scottish is a big disadvantage, management and supervisor all Polish even the cleaning staff, I've never felt such an outsider in my own country. Work, work, work is all they care about, even to the second and you can feel the supervisors eyes on you at all time. When I walked out I sat in my car feeling such a sense of relief that the longest two days of my life were over, do not consider for a second working in this slave trade production line

The factory is under Polish management !Means spontaneous , emotional decisions, no straightforwardness, difficult...(mentality like Italians)I was out and about 2 hours a day with my girlfriend because she had to take her baby away before work. We only found out at the door of the fish factory that we had been fired ( a woman from agency call us). After I had the job , she also went through an agency without an employment contract reported. I had no choice but to help her. We worked in two departments separately and I didn't find the work difficult once you got used to it and the staff were very polite and friendly.
