Immensely nice fellow behind the till warning about the ATM‘s charge and offering all possible alternatives. Really great opening hours for such a small place.

Popped into to pick up a cake for a neighbour. They turned the lights off so it went all dark where we were. Bit confused we asked what was happening and they said they were closing in 10 mins...! They didn't turn the lights back on so we had to finish our shopping with torches!! :') There are other ways to say you are closing lol.

Strathpeffer sho is the worst shop I have ever shopped in. I actually think I would find more in the scrap yard to eat or from a homeless person!! From the fact they are running out of fridges to store there milk or the fact that they don't have any food to buy in the shop!!... To top it off we went in tonight and they didn't have a plastic bag to put our groceries in. Staff are fab, but the conditions they work in is bloody awful and even they struggle to come up with reasons to why they don't have anything in the shop. Your a joke of a shop and you should close the doors and pay your staff some compensation for putting up with the conditions you have made ten work in. If I could score the shop less than 1 I would!!! McColls are a joke of a company. Get it bloody sorted x

Definitely the best Morrisons Daily in Strathpeffer. Was so good we went back two days in a row!

Shopping baskets were filthy. Not sure if they've ever been cleaned. Put it back and carried what I had to purchase!!

Very nice shop and good stuff

A tale of two halves. I was recently visiting Strathpeffer for a weekend with my wife we were so happy to find a local shop that was open until late at night. We were in three days. The Friday and Saturday we went in we were met with warmth and friendliness by the manager and two different women, he was in particular very helpful with his Post Office knowledge.The final day we went in expecting to see him again (I didn’t catch his name, he wasn’t particularly tall and wore glasses) but he wasn’t around. We wanted to thank him for his help but instead we were met with a different atmosphere, a sneering unhelpful young boy who didn’t even say hello and when I asked him about a product he just grunted at me. I can’t be the only one who has experienced this?I don’t want to mark it down more than a 4 because of the initial experience we had there but the young boy really put us off.

Great local convenience store.
