Welcoming and friendly space with classes where teens can have fun and learn useful skills. Based in the Open Market and very easy to find. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter (11 yrs) has loved attending the Monday evening sessions at Sew Fabulous. A lovely team who allow the students the freedom to create thier own designs in such a supporting and nurturing environment. Thank you.

Sew Fabulous has made me so much more confident with a sewing machine - having not really used one since school. After just one week I was trying things out at home - something I had meant to do during the whole of Covid, and never managed to.

A wonderful, warm community of makers coming together to celebrate our creativity! I very much enjoyed the weekly adult's class where I fell in love with sewing once more in a loving, patient and nurturing setting, led by very skilful teachers.

I went to the Absolute Beginners class and had a great time. A friendly calm environment to practice using a sewing machine for the first time, and you come away with a functioning product. I feel much more confident to continue my sewing journey.

Lovely local space to gain confidence in using a machine and meet like minded people. 2.5 hours flew by! The beginners course worked really well to refresh jaded brain cells that once knew how to get started sewing. Came out with fresh enthusiasm. Thank you :)

I took a class for absolute beginners and then an adult sewing class, which I enjoyed so much that I took two others! Since starting with them, I made several items of clothing. It is a calm, friendly, supportive environment, where we build our confidence in making our own clothes or other items. I also used the Friday drop-ins, which are perfect to help solve a specific problem. All teachers are very knowledgeable, welcoming and thoughtful. I strongly recommend it!

I’ve attended several of the adult sewing courses and am looking forward to the next one after the summer! So friendly and relaxed. I had experience already, but I wanted to really sharpen up the quality of my sewing and my confidence. With the support of the ever-patient Laura, I’ve most recently made a pair of Merchant and Mills ‘Strides’ tailored trousers and I’m delighted with them. The small class size means that you get lots of support whenever you need this, whatever your level of ability. I’d recommend these classes to anyone interested in sewing - whether you are a relative beginner or you already have some experience.
